Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWalking to places from this property is not really an option so a motorbike or car is helpful. Although the owner offered to take us to restaurants for dinner free of charge.
The villa was modern and clean. Perfect for a two night stay next to Mount Batur. The outside bath was a lovely bonus and the staff were excellent. Also, only a 5 minute drive to the hot springs.

Putu was absolutely amazing very helpful and kind and went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing stay. We did the keep tour with him and saw sunrise. Would definitely recommend staying here.

GermanyI had a nice and comfortable stay at Brahmastra Villa. It's just a short scooter ride off the main road and easy to find with google maps. On arrival the owner welcomed me and explained everything. He arranged a guide for the Batur sunrise hike the next morning. The room is very clean and modern with a good shower and very comfy bed. On request you can get the bath in front of the room filled. The guide for the hike was called Dennis who I can highly recommend. He picked me up from the villa at 3.30am, drove me to the start of the Batur hike and turned out to be a great company for the hike. At the top he provided a tea, banana toast and eggs cooked in the hot steams of the volcano. I recommend doing the crater rim hike with him. After the hike I had a delicious fried rice for breakfast back at the villa. I can recommend staying at the Brahmastra Villa!

The jacuzzi is amazing. Though, if you tell them in advance to start filling it up to your arrival, as it takes 2h to fill completely. Views are amazing, extremely quiet place with huge garden.

Germany- the bathroom was not clean. In the first room there was the drain of the shower was still full of hair in rubbish. We could change rooms and at first we thought it’s a bit cleaner but then we took a closer look at the toilet and unfortunately it was not cleaned at all. This definitely needs improvement and training of staff. - limited choice for breakfast not corresponding to price
There was a jacuzzi in front of the room which was really nice. It’s a good location to visit mount batur. High potential!
