Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWiFi could be better but it does the job.
Absolutely stunning place for the money you pay. The room was a 10 - including the bathroom. You also have a little porch in the entrance of your room to relax. Rooms are very well distributed so you have a lot of privacy, while still being close to the restaurant and the pool. It's not a noisy accommodation. And is next to the magnificent Balinese famous big statue. But the best was the staff and the restaurant, which is actually visited by local people and serves incredible food. PLEASE ORDER THE GNOCCHIS! Casa Asia is a place to stay a lot of days!

United StatesI had to play musical chairs with the rooms: everyday I had to move to another room because the room I was in now had people coming specifically for that room. This got in the way of going out and enjoying morning activities like snorkeling, diving, surfing. Everything had to be scheduled for afternoon only.
Everything else was great

GermanyRoad to the Casa in pretty bad condition - own vehicle or pick ups with taxi required as it is located quite remote.
It felt like an amazing getaway from the trouble in the main street and touristic areas. The garden and pool area had a very relaxing vibe to it and the Pizza in their own restaurant was actually very delicious. Regarding the room, I have nothing bad to mention! Would definitely recommend it to my friends!

UkraineI'd recommend improving the Wifi. Also, the check-out at 10:00am was a bit too early for us.
Very clean, spacious and well decorated room. Nice pool, green territory, quiet area. The pizza at the restaurant was just amazing (I want to come back for it), good value for money. The staff were nice and helpful.

United KingdomThe shower didn’t drain very well and they didn’t fill up the drinking water much but both not major problems. The location was also a little far out if you don’t ride a moped but we managed to get grabs/Gojek relatively easily
Super clean and very well decorated, comfy bed and nice pool. The restaurant was amazing- great pizza and you could get well priced Indonesian food too. The staff were super helpful and friendly! Great to have Netflix on the tv also

ChinaEverything was the way it should be. Staff, like all Indonesian people that I met on the Bali island, were extremely polite and always ready to help. Villa's restaurant provides Indonesian and International cuisine. International cuisine is mostly based on Italian cuisine. Also, if you need a motorbike you can rent it there.

CanadaWe really enjoyed our stay at Casa Asia. The restaurant had amazing food, the pizza was very good. The pool was lovely, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice, the shower was hot, and had good pressure. The staff were helpful, but they weren't as warm compared to other Balinese people at other hotels we'd stayed at in Bali. The location was pretty secluded, you do need a scooter to get around to the beaches, and other restaurants, etc.

SpainOur A/C was in serious need of replacement, it was noisy during night hours. A heavier blanket or duvet would definitely be appreciated as a light sheet can be uncomfortable.
Very well kept Hotel with an awesome restaurant on site, very well known in the area. The gardens are immaculate and the rooms are comfortable, decent in size and come with a nice terrace outdoor area overlooking the gardens. The bathroom was great. Guests benefit from a discount at the restaurant.
