Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We are from Singapore. We enjoyed our vacation (5D4N) at Cassia Bintan. The apartment and surroundings were well maintained. Beach and swimming pools were clean. Thumbs up for the daily breakfast at Lotus Cafe. Pleasant and delicious dining experiences at Treetop and Saffron. All staff displayed a good service attitude with their SMILES making us feel welcome and at home. [

IndiaThe breakfast felt a bit repetitive and it would've helped if they had options like oatmeal for the kids we were traveling with. The pancakes, waffles, bread etc weren't very good so that limited the options available to the kids. Also, not having room service was a bummer- specially when you travel with kids.
Loved the fact that they had access to a private beach. It is clean and not very crowded so it was perfect!

Indonesiathe type of water in the shower extends to the room, for parents and children it is best to put it in the lower room (in front of the garden) as for example in room 5505, breakfast is too far away at Angsana Resort

SingaporeRestaurants and spa were a little pricey, although they were exceptional in quality. Wish there were more wallet friendly alternatives available. Lack of things to do within the resort apart from beach and spa.
Room was amazing, decent breakfast. Beach was clean and fun to be in. Go for some of the free activities such as aquatic Zumba, Nature Bike with activity coordinator Benedictus

SingaporeThere are a few areas where the Cassia could improve for example just having someone to help with luggage when you arrive especially with children and golf clubs. More options on the food for those with allergies would be good also such as gluten free pasta or bread etc.
Great location right by the beach and the golf course.

United StatesCons: A bit of a pain to get to your room navigating different floors and elevators. I never got a completely hot shower…always ran out of warm water. Loud music with extra loud bass playing outside that made it hard to enjoy eating dinner.
Pros: Great beach that is shared by 3 properties, lovely swimming pool and wonderful staff. Breakfast that is provided was amazing.

SingaporeThe only thing that I didn’t like was that the Vista restaurant isn’t open until around 11am. We arrived early which was around 9.30am, was raining and we’re all very hungry but the only way to eat was to go to the Lotus Cafe where they serve the buffet breakfast - located in Angsana Resort space. It’s about 10-min walk with a Senior citizen, to go through the sheltered area when raining and about 5-min walk to go by the pathway along the beach. We complained about it and we’re pacified by offering a buggy service to the restaurant. Btw, they do not offer ala-carte so we need to purchase buffet brkfast.
The 2-bedroom apartment I booked with sea view is excellent. The Vista restaurant of Cassia Bintan, the pool area and the beach itself are very accessible from our room which was convenient for my Mum (Senior) and my son. The receptionist and staff were very accommodating and friendly. We appreciate that we managed to check-in early at about 11am. Lucky that nobody’s occupying our room for that day. The food isn’t that bad either. My son liked the fish and chips and strawberry milkshake (he ordered it 3 times during our 3D2N stay there. The Nasi Goreng Kampung was also awesome. We opted for non-spicy so we all can enjoy it. The beds are also very comfortable. They don’t offer daily cleaning service which is practical so we have to maintain it a little bit, but they do visited on the second day to collect rubbish.
