the tap was sinking, the internet sometimes was not great, no temperature control in the showers, the breakfast was not fulfilling and the coffee could be more flavorable. I needed to be patient also with other guests, who were sometimes a bit loud

Location is really good, close to the beach, restaurants and bars but still quiet at night. Staff is helpful and will try to sort out things for you.

The bathroom was a little smelly and dirty

The pool was refreshing and nice with all the plants around it. The staff was quiet but friendly. The breakfast was good. The guesthouse was not facing a main street thats why it was quiet and makes you feel comfortable and save.

The was a massive cockroach 🪳 in the room. The breakfast wasn't big enough.

The pool space is just the pool, not one single chair to sit or lay down. The room description said 2 beds and pool view, there was 1 bed and I was put at the last room, only view was to the noisy street. Also due to the room location there was no Wifi in the room, if I had to use the internet I had to stay in the middle of the corridor area with other guests passing. Staff not friendly. Also woke up with a bunch of ants

Wifi was very bad. At reception it was slow but I guess working, and the booster to my floor (2nd) didn’t work. I had to position my laptop in a certain way in order to get 2 bars of signal from 3rd floor, even then it cut out every minute or so

The rooms are very hot, no AC, the ventilator is louder than a street full of bikes. My sheet smelled like men Parfum. The guy next door listened to music loudly all night and kept his door open. Pretty uncomfortable. Also a party crew returned a 6am in the morning and was very noisy for over one hour. The hotel staff didn’t bother about it

The standard fan rooms were about what you would expect for the end of the wet season (hot and uncomfortable when lacking AC) but the bathrooms had no ventilation of any kind other than airing into the main room, so the whole room was damp and smelled of sewer pipes. It was extremely uncomfortable and smelled very bad. I had been expecting basic, but the smell was way too much to deal with.

The staff member who ran the front desk during nights was a very nice, quiet guy. I liked him! Created a nice quiet atmosphere to escape from Kuta

When we arrived there wasn’t any toilet paper in the room, but reception gave us some when we asked. The person at reception didn’t speak to us, we don’t know if it was due to lack of English or not, even when saying hi he wouldn’t even acknowledge our presence. We were lead to our room, then the person left without so much as a word, nor the did my friend and I notice until after we had put our bags down and turned to ask a question. We were given no instructions about the property, such as the wifi password, pool opening and closing times and when breakfast was. However, there is sufficient signage around the place to be able to work it out. Overall, the place was okay, however we wouldn’t stay again. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom, which wasn’t ideal, and we don’t know if it was there beforehand or if it had crawled in from under the door while we were in the room, but at least it provided my friend and I some entertainment as we tried to get rid of it.

Honestly, for the price we paid it was quite good. My friend and I stayed in a room with a double, the place was clean yet bare. But for the cost there’s not much to complain about. For one night the property was fine, especially with the two of us, however if we were to stay longer we probably would’ve cut our losses and gone somewhere else. The shower has hot water, the hottest we have found so far. But most of the other properties we had stayed in didn’t have hot water. We left early in the morning so didn’t get to try breakfast, but the location is good and has a Gloria jeans next door, as well as a minimart less then a minute’s walk away and some day spas. The mall is also really close by, and it’s an easy walk to the beach! The pool was absolutely amazing! A really big plus for the place!
