The narrow, dark streets in the area made one feel uncomfortable to walk alone or even with others

Stayed here for a few days over christmas, and we loved it. The villa is gorgeous, beautiful pool area, and very clean. Having a chef cook breakfast in villa, is a total luxury, and food was very good. Had 2 massages in less than 3 days stay, and they were so good, best massage i had in a long time. So cheap also. It was an amazing stay.

This could potentially pose discomfort for individuals sensitive to strong odours. • Narrow Access Lanes: Accessing the property through narrow lanes could be challenging at times, though Chandra Bali mitigates this by offering complimentary drop-offs to nearby locations. • Slippery Tiles: The tiles in the living and dining areas near the pool could be slippery, posing a potential safety hazard when transitioning from the pool area.

The speaker in our 3br villa.. it was in a fixed position facing the lounge room away from the pool. It was essentially a tv speaker, which is great if you only want to use it while watching TV, but we wanted to listen to music while in the pool which meant the sound struggled. Easy solution is to bring a decent portable speaker which we’ll definitely do next stay.

Great villa in the heart of Seminyak. Peaceful & quiet yet close enough to walk to the beach, eat street, etc. The pool was a lovely temperature and the breakfast made in-villa was superb (I’d usually opt for breakfast at Sisterfields but this was delicious!) everything was easy. Minnie was absolutely fabulous. We will stay again.

Honestly, we enjoyed everything in our stay at Chandra so no negatives.

We booked Chandra Villas as we had read great reviews online. It absolutely was as good as the reviews! We arranged our airport pickup through Chandra and were warmly welcomed right from the start. All the staff were outstanding, helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. We rented a 3 bedroom private pool villa for 2 adults and 4 children and it was perfect. The room sizes were very generous and each room had its own ensuite. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! Everyone had good privacy but could all come together in the large open plan lounge, family and kitchen area and to sunbathe and play together in the pool. The outdoor area was larger than we expected and the pool with ideal for 6 people - even long enough for the adults to swim laps! Each day the staff arranged to come in and clean the gardens and pool, put out mosquito coils, make the beds and tidy the bathrooms but they did it so well we hardly noticed they were there. Our breakfasts were really well prepared every morning by our chef and there was a great range of options to choose from. All the facilities worked perfectly and the air con was spot on (it was 32 degrees each day we were there). In terms of location, it was as described - about 500m to the nearest beach and about the same to Eat Street in Seminyak. We either walked or took Gojek's to each location which was super easy. The Chandra also offers a free drop-off service around Seminyak so we used this to go slightly further on our explorations. The lovely ladies on Reception helped us book trips and shuttles to other locations like Legian, Kuta and Nusa Dua. Chandra is located in a precinct that has a whole lot of other villa complexes in it too so it felt safe. There was a handy Circle K (convenience store), a coffee shop and some local spa / nail / hair salon options within a 5 minute walk too.

Nothing negative to report. I would like to recommend hooks outside around pool area for all our wet towels to hang out after we’ve been swimming. Also a drying rack would be have great for our wet shorts and swimwear.

We stayed here for 4 nights in December and were very impressed with the villas. The size is great, rooms are spacious, clean and I think it’s better in real life than the photos online. We loved that there was 2 full bathrooms. My kids are older so the 2 separate bedrooms were great but if you had little kids they may not like being in a completely separate bedroom from you at night. The staff are very friendly and go over and above to make you feel welcome and we felt safe. The pool is a perfect temperature. Agus, our morning chef cooked our breakfast beautifully. The villas are very quiet. ‘Local Coffee” shop is just outside and serves great coffee. I didn’t like walking back to the villa at night so recommend jumping on Gojek at night rather than walking down the road at night.

I am unable to think of anything I did not like.

The staff was exceptionally good, Never seen such hospitality anywhere. All the staff was so warm , polite, helpful & cheerful, especially their Manager Minnie was too good. Felt like staying at home.

There was some loose boards around the swimming pool which was quite dangerous. A pity as we had paid quite a lot of money. We were informed that these were due for an upgrade later this year.

Lovely accommodation for our family. Beautiful villa and pool. Very friendly staff and a drop off car service for local amenities.

The couple of things we didn't love was that the staff were in and out a bit of the villa either cleaning, or cleaning the pool(which are different staff), if you have breakfast included the staff come in about an hour before to prepare, so you have to give them access to the villa beforehand. Which was fine they are not intrusive at all but we really like our privacy so that would be one thing you should keep in mind if you like privacy. We didn't have great luck with room service a few times we tried they weren't working or was too late. Our villa didn't get sun most of the day, it is only at times you get full sun at certain times of the day but we didn't see the other villas sun coverage, ours was not great if you like spending time sunbaking. There was a bit of noise at night time but it wasn't coming from our villa it may have been coming from the villas behind but it wasn't terrible just a couple of nights with noisy neighbors....

The villa was lovely and beautifully cleaned each day. The chefs and staff were amazing, breakfast was always beautifully presented by the lovely staff. Rooms and villa were spacious. Pretty good location with a great coffee shop called The local which was awesome coffee and food, very friendly staff at coffee shop.

Chandra Villas were fantastic for our stay. You can walk to the beach and the main street for shopping and eating. Our host Wayan was awesome. We enjoyed breakfast daily and all of our needs were met. The staff at the front reception, the security and all other staff were all very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and relaxed.

On a couple of occasions one member of staff came in to the Villa without knocking. Even when we had the door locked.

Villas were absolutely stunning. Couldn’t have asked for better. Beautiful pool, bedrooms and bathrooms. Good facilities included in the rooms. Service was exceptional. The staff were just amazing and they were extremely helpful. Anything we needed they accommodated us. They went above and beyond for us. Especially the ladies at reception who were the most lovely hotel staff we have ever met, they made us feel so welcome. They made our lives so easy, they booked our horse riding for us, ordered food for us, and much more. The free hotel car to take us anywhere in Seminyak was a nice touch. Special thanks to Eka and Tuti, are very special. We will definitely be back, thank you to all at Chandra Bali
