Chillhouse was an oasis and excellent value. It was an easy walk to the beach and some great restaurants and warungs. Gade and his family are delightful and even forwarded us cash (added to our bill) so we didn’t have to travel to the only atm on the island.

Absolutely loved my stay here for 6 nights - super spacious room, nice bathroom, and balcony view. Super convenient location, I walked for food and activities and Gede was kind to assist in helping plan activities as well. The best part was his family and staff on property welcoming you and being there for anything you may need. I was able to grab an earlier ferry and Gede let me check in early. I felt very safe traveling solo here and would definitely stay again.

There were some small ants in the room (we didn't have food inside)

Very good location, close to the beach, warungs and shops. We booked for 5 days and extended to a week, as we liked the place. Clean, shop under the rooms where you can buy water, snacks and even rent a scooter. Rooms have a kettle to make coffee and a small fridge.

Love this little gem! A family run hotel, nothing was too much trouble. The location is convenient and the hotel is great value for money.

Great location on the main road and near the beach. Private pool at the back. Good WiFi. Has fridge and air-conditioning. The family owners are very friendly and helpful. Can rent a motor bike for the day for 75k.

Its not to do with Chillhouse, but Nusa Lemongan in general. There's no organised boat transport companies that run boat services to Nusa Penida from Nusa Lembongan, those that are operating have very questionable safety standards. the boat booked by Chillhouse (as also other guest houses in the area) start from Mangrove (not Yellow bridge). It's very unorganized (the boat company doesn't even have a name!); they overbook, there are no safety jackets, they take it very lightly given it is just a 15 min ride from NL to NP, but the same 15 min can prove fatal, as they are travelling in deep sea without any safety precaution and with more passengers than they should admit. In hindsight, I think I took a huge and unacceptable risk by travelling to NL and NP in the current state of affairs. I am not sure if its better to use the boat services from Yellow bridge and that is worth checking

Very close to Port while arriving from Sanur to NL. Its a bit far (About 3-4 kms away when going to NP from NL, you then have to go to a different port near Yellow Bridge) or if you opt for the boat operator arranged by the guest house to Mangrove (it's not a port, you wade through water to get into a small boat). Clean property, located in the middle of many restaurants. There are however no good beaches nearby. There is the beach at the boat harbour called Jungutbatu beach, however it is full of boats tied up. There are a couple of vegan food options nearby that was a huge help

Owned by a very friendly family who also runs a decent supermarket and is renting out scooters, three minutes walk from the Arthamas Express Ferry drop off at the beach and their office.

Big room, nice garden view to lovely plants, perfectly located in the area with most coffees, restaurants, shops and yoga options in Nusa Lembongan. Sort walk to the beach and the ferries. Very friendly owners with a small supermarket in the house to get everything you need.

Excellent little guesthouse in a great location in Lembongan - walking distance to the beach and main street of restaurants and cafes. Rooms are spotlessly clean, good AC, nice plunge pool. Gede is a super friendly and helpful host and can help sort out anything. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Bathroom could be updated a little

Lovely family run accommodation. Very helpful and kind and they also provide tours and transport including scooter rental. Very useful to have the shop they own attached to grab anything you need. Really liked staying here and also close to everything (walking or scooter)

Things to know: - The contact number on the booking doesn't seem to work. But the owner responded to my messages thru Booking in a few hours. :) - There were lots of little ants on the desk, the bathroom counter, and the two end tables. This is typical for Bali, but I mention it because it was way more than what I usually encounter at other homestays. They were harmless and didn't bite, but they kept getting all in my stuff.

The room was like a standard hotel room: bed, 2 end tables, wardrobe for hanging clothes with a safe, desk, and a chair. Linens were clean. Towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, drying rack, kettle & coffee, mini fridge, and TV provided. Air conditioner worked well. No problems with mosquitos, roaches, or lizards. Wi-fi was good the whole time (I was able to work). Bathroom was clean. Hot water in the shower. Owner provided drinking water. Location is in the super busy/tourist area on the north side of Lembongan -- easy walking distance to the beach and plenty of food places along the road/next door. Quiet at night.

The location of the homestay was extremely convenient and there is also a family owned supermarket which was great. The staff were so friendly and helpful with booking ferries and tours etc. Great scooter hire too. Couldn’t recommend staying here more!

the air con could’ve been stronger

the whole family was welcoming and lovely, has a shop on site, we rented a scooter for a really good price, close to food places/beaches, the room was massive, comfortable and clean. same with the bathroom, really big and clean. nice little balcony area with table and chairs. good fridge and kettle in room. we used the laundry service and they did such a good job. would definitely recommend this place!

My ac broke, but the mechanic had no time to fix it. They offered me a new room, very good service.

the staff is super friendly and they have a supermarket as well and they will help you with excursions and bike rental for a good price. The house is very close to the beach. Rooms are very big + clean and have a seat outside as well.

no blanket, only top sheet, which doesn't work that well at night if you crank that AC up

friendly and helpful staff, Gede drove me to the port when I was leaving, and he also helped me finding an e-bike on the island. Took the tour on the scooter around the island with him and he also pointed me to the right dive shop. The room was clean and spacious, and the location could not be more perfect as it's right in the center near so many restaurants. I'll stay here again whenever I'm Lembongan bound!
