Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The resort is located around 35 minutes from Ubud centre. This means you really get that quiet and relaxing vibe. The staff really catered to all our needs. They really made this stay special! Special thanks to the staff including: Artha, Dony, Ina, Yumi and all the kitchen and serving staff! We will definitely come back.

It is perfect , no words , its the best i been in my life , its so underrated , the photos does not show the real hotel , beatifull rooms , amazing pool and view , the staff is so nice and perfect , the room service is amazing , i forgot a bag and they wanted to send it to my new hotel , if anybody want to go to ubud this is ur place it is close for alot of things , very quit and amazing , i cant describe how much this place is perfect , very clean , no bugs no ants no nothing , its heaven on earth

Gorgeous views at pure nature outside and from your room balcony, beautiful and immaculately clean room as well as the whole hotel itself, delicious food at the restaurant, live music, attention to details at all aspects of your stay: from complimentary gin and tonic and coffee machine in your room to sunset cocktail, afternoon tea and care of the staff during all your stay. There are not many other restaurants around (and they close early) so if you stay longer the haute cuisine every evening might make you to crave something simpler.

An absolutely stunning resort around 30 minutes away from Ubud. Great facilities, extremely friendly and helpful staff and an amazing restaurant. The whole place has a very relaxed atmosphere.

Food was good, but expected better and more variety. Lack of communicating offers, but the staff were amazing and adjusted the payments accordingly. (Examples, SPA offers on the TV were different to those at the SPA but the staff managed to adjust the payments as per requested and immediately) another example was out stay included free cocktails between 5 and 7 pm, one day I was having cocktails (6 pm) and a lady asked for my room number to charge a cocktail, and then she explained "the offer includes only one cocktail) which was not mentioned anywhere. They didn't charge me for it but I expect better communication to avoid confusion.

My recent stay at Cicada Luxury Resort Ubud was an absolute dream come true. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Ubud's jungle, this resort is a haven of tranquility and natural beauty. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the attentive staff. The check-in process was seamless, and I was immediately whisked away to my villa, where I was greeted by breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle. The villa itself was a masterpiece of design, blending traditional Balinese architecture with modern comforts. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the intricately carved woodwork to the luxurious amenities. I particularly appreciated the private terrace, where I could unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere.

One of the highlights of my stay was exploring the resort's grounds, which are teeming with biodiversity. Walking along the winding pathways, I felt as though I was stepping into a secret paradise. The infinity pool overlooking the jungle canopy is a true oasis of relaxation, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The dining experience at Cicada was also exceptional. The restaurant offers a delectable array of local and international dishes, each prepared with the freshest ingredients sourced from the surrounding area. Dining alfresco amidst the sounds of nature added an extra layer of enjoyment to every meal.

Just a gorgeous resort in the middle of the jungle. The room was great and spacious with very nice bathtub. Also good coffee and tee was available in the room. The SPA is also at very high level with great service. The restaurant is serving delicious food for breakfast and for dinner. The hotel provide some very nice activities in the morning like a walk in the Sabatu rice fields. The staff is very friendly(even too friendly) and always willing to help. Also the driver services at the hotel are great, especially the drive we used called Yogi.

It is a little bit far from Ubud, 30 minutes by taxi. Nothing else.

The first impression before we saw the hotel inside was mixed: a rural street; where is the hotel? But the idea of this hotel where the floors and villas are going down is impressive and fabulous. Brilliant kitchen, perfect room, a lot of compliments, and really great staff. And the show that the hotel organized was stunning. My special gratitude to Kartika; she is fantastic. It is the second time of dozens of reviews when I decided to mark the hotel with 10/10.
