Shared bathroom could get busy sometimes but was not a real issue

Really nice place to stay in Bajawa with very friendly and helpful staff. I only had two nights in Bajawa but they helped me make the most of it. They gave me a lot of recommendations for sightseeing and food options. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The room was clean and comfortable. Can definitely recommend! When visiting go have a chat with the owner Johannes. He knows a lot about Flores and it's history if you're interested!

For the price, the value you get leaves nothing to complain about.

Spacious room and hot shower at all times (we took the triple room), amazing pancakes ofcourse but they also customised it for my husband who wanted eggs instead…but most of all we appreciated deeply how well Yohanes looked after us - from suggesting what to do, to organising a backup when our flight was suddenly cancelled and also connecting us to his friend Yonas - who provided an excellent, friendly car service for us throughout our stay. Yonas even invited us to join a ceremony at his fathers home - a memory we will cherish for years. :)

Everything fine. Super clean room, super nice host, good location next to restaurants and ATM and supermarket. There is free water you can use. Breakfast are the best banana pancake in Indonesia!

Really nice host Johannes, who will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are nice and clean. Water, tea and coffee (grown and produced by Johannes) are provided for free throughout the day. Exceptionally good banana pancakes and fruit for breakfast. Johannes can arrange anything like a scooter for rent or a guide to visit the villages or to climb Gunung Inierie. We had Ignasius as a guide to climb the volcano and had a really good experience.

The guest house is nice, not a really fancy hotel, but also does not pretend to be. Best is the whole staff, which is really kind and helpful at all times! They helped me arrange transport, a motorbike, guide for Mt. Inerie and more.

A perfect place in Bajawa for a layover. the homestay is in the middle of town and close to some nice restaurants and cafés. The beds and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The host and his team are great people and will help you out with all the information and guides to visit the villages, waterfalls and hot springs. Would recommend

The shower is cold water only, and the street can be noisy, but this is Asia so fairly typical.

First, the owner is exceptional with trying yo meet your needs, whether it be tours, transportation, or something else. I had a flight canceled, which caused chaos with my plans, and the owner patiently helped me through it. My room is spacious, and the shared bathroom is clean. Location is on the main street so near everything you need.

it’s located in a busy street so there is some street noise and the mosque call to prayer is audible. Light sleepers should bear this in mind

The family are so lovely - they helped organise transport and put us in contact with a local tour guide (Jeremy!), which was really good fun! The dad of the family also makes the best pancakes for breakfast 😋

Johannes (the host) is very helpful and always around. The banana pancake breakfast with fresh fruit is delicious and they are flexible with the time (for example after you hike mt Inerie). The room was clean and very spacious and our private bathroom had a hot shower with good pressure! Several restaurants in 1-3 minutes walking distance.

Bathroom needs ventilation so it's not so musty. Road noise - bring earplugs.

Super friendly and helpful staff, good place to find a guide or driver, nice breakfast, good bed, hot shower in some rooms. Nice backpacker community vibe. Scooter rental available and near restaurants and Bajawa Food Corner.

This is outside of the guest house, but there was a karaoke bar next door which was very loud and went on for very long. But yohanes went and asked if the music could be turned down. Which it did. They can also use a bigger break fast table as there wasn't enough room for everyone to sit.

We liked that yohanes was such a kind man, he really went through lengths to make sure we were happy. The room was clean and comfortable.
