the hotel is located at the far end of tiny road and car cant reach infrant of the lobby. Upon our arrival, it was down pour rain .it was not a nice experience running from our car to the lobby. No helper or staff bring us any umbrella.

The toilet didn't really seem to be well equipped with soap. Otherwise for the value it's pretty okay.

It was pretty much 12:00 a.m. when I had made this booking it was a drunk booking. So as long as I had a roof over my head I was fine. I mean for what it's worth it's pretty good. I would not recommend more than a few nights, not for more than a week.

The fuse seems to be unreasonably small - on the last evening of our stay, the power was cut three times, which was due to some other guests using over-powered appliances according to the front desk, but how "over-powered" could it be for travellers? I guess it was by the most some travel kettles etc., so the old hotel really needs to be rewired. The lights didn't feel bright enough in our rooms, probably for the sake of the tiny fuse. The extractor fan in our bathroom wasn't working, leaving the room steamy and humid after our showers. The safe in the room was too small to fit even a 13-in laptop.

The location was great - surrounded by alleys of clothes shops and eateries in the centre of Kuta; only 8 minute's walk to Beachwalk shopping centre which also has a well-stocked supermarket Foodmart, and 13 minute's walk to the Kuta beach. Check-in was super quick. The staff at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful - the smiley young lad (sorry for not asking for your name!) kindly helped us carry our heavy cases to the first floor when we checked in and Fannie was outstanding - she was so knowledgeable about Bali, sharing all tips for our sightseeing, and very kindly offered me her mobile phone when my credit card was blocked and I could only contact my UK bank over the phone. The driver for hire, Nick, was also wonderful - he was reliable and took us around Bali at very reasonable prices; he also spoke sufficient English for daily conversations. I would strongly recommend him if you need to hire a driver. The family room was fairly big, with good WiFi and air conditioning. The big bathroom and 24-h hot water were great, too.

The noise does echo a bit in the central courtyard parking area, but nothing major.

Big rooms in a nice location, close to everything without being right on the party strip. Fridge in the room and drinking water dispensers dotted around for guests to use. Reception team were friendly.

The staff was really nice and the location is really good. There is a restaurant outside of it with great breakfast options and people that stay in the hotel get 5% off. It was quite clean compared to a lot of other for this price in Bali

Only thing was the shower didn't have a walled recess so the water just went all over the bathroom floor. Also the door to the bathroom didn't close, not a big deal, just little things

How ever the room on first floor (street floor) was very noise. Even nights with my earplugs were restless. Heard dogs barking from the alley, people steps outside and doors slamming. And if you are even a little bit after neatness, can not recommend this hotel because of stains (not clean looking sheets and towels) and cracked walls. Otherwise works on short visit.

Location is very good. Room including hot water (however the shower was oddly oriented) , safety box, table, big bed and air-con was overall good.
