Great place, with even better people!  We arrived by train from Ketapang to Klakah, we were picked up from the train and immediately offered attractions in the form of a beautiful lava road (the main one was impassable).  The driver chose the route fantastically and took us safely to our destination.  The owner was already waiting at the door and we immediately established a plan of action.  The next day, waterfalls, then Bromo and Ijen.  Very helpful people who organized everything for us :)  Rooms with simple furnishings, you can feel like a real resident of Java. highly recommend it!

Shower was bit to cold for me, you got use to it after a bit.

Great location. Hosts were lovely. I would recommend this place if you are going to the waterfalls.

Nice homestay - basic but good for 1/2 nights. Friendly host who has good recommendations and helped us with a lift to a near by restaurant and arranged transport for us to go to the train station. Lots of nice friendly cats. Mopeds available to use from the host too

The staff was particularly nice offering better room options, a good route to see the attractions and transport booking, extra food one could pay for, extra services like transports, warm shower, good location, delicious breakfast and just a nice atmosphere:)

The best stay in whole Java thanks to the family owners who masę our stay excellent. They were extremely hopeful and friendly. We felt there like at home. Besides there is very close walking distance to beautiful waterfalls. We extended our stay there for six nights because everything was do good . Our breakfasts were vegan as we asked.high

Excellent stay , , extremaly helpful and very friendly family owners, a lot of tips how to get around. Very near turistc atractions as famous waterfalls in walking distance. The owners , vegan breakfast and greenery around were so welcoming that we extended our stay for morę days. Really recomended

The best homestay that I’ve ever had, the host and their staff treat me like a family, I really love this homestay, Mas Arief and his wife also is very kind and lovely, they help me with a lot of things, Mas aries arranged and give out an idea which make my Indonesia trip become a memorable and wonderfull one. I will highly recommend this place for whoever want to go to tumpak sewu and nearby attraction, the food that they give to me also delicious, home cooked is the best ! Thank you Mas Aries, his wife and his staff and ohhh his sweet little girl as well. Overall I am satisfied staying at this homestay. Highly recommend ! Please come to this homestay !

It was pretty loud in the morning

The owners made me feel like I'm part of a family. Food was delicious (I even got free lunch). The host took me to the village to withdraw (the ATM unfortunately didn't work with my card so the next day he arranged money exchange), helped me with booking train and bus ticket and even a trip to Ijen volcano. Great place, I highly recommend it.

Don’t expect anything fancy from the room. It’s basic but comfortable. Only downside was the lack of mechanical ventilation, so it can get quite humid/smelly in the room.

Great location close to many waterfalls. Although the owners weren’t there we kept in contact and were treated very well by the family and staff. Delicious breakfast included and we could even get diner and borrow a motorbike.

We had to sleep under a blanket without bed sheet. Not very hygenic. They use a sun boiler, so In the morning the shower was cold. But in the afternoon it was fine for me. Altjough my children had also a cold shower.

The owner was very very friendly. She drove us to a warung for free (where we could eat vegetarian food). And she was very nice to us. Good breakfast.

No basket in the bathroom to put your toilet paper in.

The owner and their family were so friendly and hospitable. Dropped me off at the panorama for free. Organized and took me to collect my train ticket, dropped me off at another waterfall so didn’t walk, pelanggi waterfall was closed but the owner taught me another way to enter.

The owners are really really nice and it’s location is superb! I stayed there with my friends for 2 nights, we felt so welcoming in there and enjoy our stay. The owners even gives us a lot of ‘only local know’ kind of information for our next trip in Bromo.
