Could have done with another pillow, but not a big deal for one night

Great family run homestay with a good location close to the harbour for easy access to the islands early the next morning. Staff were very friendly and arranged pick up from the airport and the harbour the next morning. We were able to get food from the restaurant directly in front and have it delivered to the homesty to enjoy in the lovely courtyard. We were too tired to use the pool, but it looked great. Clean and comfortable rooms.

We did not like, that we wanted to Nusa Penida and the staff offered us a help with a tickets from the local Harbour. The price was 200k/person which is about 60k higher then the average price of the ticket. That would be eventually ok, because they Said they will give us the ride to the harbour (2km for accomodation) but afterall they charged us another 50k for the 3 minutes ride! Big thumbs down.

Room is small with simple furniture but the location is ideal for a 1 night transit before departing from the harbor to Gili islands. We had a good night sleep after flying 24hrs. The communication was fluent. Extra charge of 50000 IDR to drive you to the harbor.

It’s my second time starting here and for almost 2 weeks. Most people stay here to take the fast boat to Gili or Lombok for a day or two. I’m an unusual long stay customer and come to Serangan for the peaceful atmosphere and to write. The place is well maintained and staff are friendly. Plenty of great local restaurants where you pay local people prices versus some of the more popular tourist areas.

Lovely little Homestay close to the harbour. Very peaceful but only around 20min motorbike ride from the chaos of Kuta. Comfortable small room, very clean, AC, hot shower and lots of fresh seafood warungs nearby. Welcoming and professional hosting. Great value. Would happily stay here again.

Though staff and owners were always easily accessible, they did need reminders to keep on track of the varous guests' needs. Do not be shy to ask - in busy times such as the Galungan-Kuningan Ogoh-Ogoh and Nyepi week that I was there, it would be easy to forget details as owners and staff all have families too. So they are juggling the busy work/life balace too. Be kind, be compassionate... you will notice they will usually go out of their way to help if they know your needs. But you do need to ask!

Amazing sraff and heartfelt care! Went with owners to temple ceremonies for the Kuningan timing while I was there. Emy and her daughter guided me almost every step of the way as Emy and staff Wayan took us on bikes to get to the starting point of the local temple. Then, I walked with the procession, keeping an eye on Emyahead in the procession, while walking with her kind daughter..Great experience which ended with a walk back from the small harbor beach. Great experience! Made, her husband also rode me out to the lical Ogoh Ogoh celebrations on the next day on his bike when rain had stopped (and celebrations were just beginning around 10pm!). That was a really fun experience that I had wanted to see. The size of the village here is just right, so it wasn't overcrowded, there was kindness and many welcoming smilles everywhere with no drunken antics that may be present in bigger and busier locations. This area is also full of young kids carefully watched by loving parents! It's definitely worth visiting! This Homestay is the same loving energy! ❤️

Loved this little Homestay having arrived with a newly broken ankle they couldn’t do enough for me. It’s family run and what a fabulous family they are. Taxis right from the door. Meals delivered to our terrace from the family run restaurant next door. The most fabulous lobster cooked by Emy. Milos taxi to take you anywhere you wanted. It’s conveniently situated for both the airport and the ferries to the Gili islands. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

The property was beautiful, but the family was even moreso. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. They were friendly, attentive and over-the-top accommodating. We enjoyed our time at D & D so much we are already looking forward to our return in two weeks.

The owner and her worker are some of the most friendly people we've Ever met! They picked us up from denpasar airport although we've had a delay for about 2hours and the organized us a boat trip to gili Island for the next Day ! The Room and the swimming Pool was perfectly clean and the breakfast was also very good! Thank you guys
