The restaurant catered poorly for vegetarians. Limited bar was pretty expensive.

The setting of this accomodation is what makes it. It is in the most beautiful surroundings with tropical gardens all around and a view across the valley from the pool. It is designed to take you back in time with furniture and antiques that make you think it could be the 1940s! It was so wonderfully designed, it felt like a holiday in it's own right. The rooms are huge and very comfortable indeed, the bed is fabulous, and even has a streaming tv. We were near the pool so a bit of a walk with a fair amount of steps to the dining area but there is room service if that feels too much! It was good wi-fi not reliant on the central building. We had an large and comfortable terrace that was a plasure to sit out on. As other reviewers have said, it is a covered but outdoor bathroom, so we did meet some froggy friends, but this added to the appeal for us and we really appreciated the space. We were not thrilled with the restaurant despite the lovely setting, but a short walk down the hill takes you to different restaurants, we enjoyed the one that offered Cirebon's best view - it was impressive! As we were only here for 2 nights we otherwise did not leave the complex, the pool was huge and lovely and there were many attractive social spaces to sit and read etc. The gym also had a wonderful view. Free transfers from and to the train station were much appreciated, but be warned, the roads are very busy and although we thought we had left plenty of time we missed our train despite the driver's best efforts. Very easy and cheap to get on the next train though so it wasn't a huge problem.

The maintenance team shall respond to guest complaints immediately, we were there for 2 nights and both nights were raining heavily. The roof of the bathroom was leaking right above the WC. The sink wastewater outlet was also leaking.

We enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are spacious with a nice atmosphere and the king size bed is suitable for families with children. All food was delicious.

Villa a bit worn down, can be better maintained. Food quality is value for money but can be improved in terms of taste.

There's stairs everywhere, while it's good for workouts, but not advisable for wheelchair or baby stroller. The air-conditioning unit in the room was the biggest minus of our stay, which did not chill the room enough, especially with the heat and humid weather during our stay.

A nice retreat in village themed resort. Very nice swimming pool with very clear natural water. Room themed in a classical village style, with an outdoor bathroom. There's a Smart TV in room with YouTube and all sort of streaming services available. Staff were superbly hospitable, with front reception lady staff being so kind and nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and freshly made Nasi Goreng were the champ. I'm definitely coming back for another retreat

Almost everything are excellent. Its just too many stairs for my parents (and also my weak muscle). But still manageable to take some rest in between stairs. Love the antiques all around the places.. Delicious meals or snacks. Breakfast is very good with traditional foods..

The fact that only 1 key and power card given, means if you go to the pool or breakfast, your room will be hot again. Not suitable for elderly as there are steps to go anywhere. Make sure to bring backpack instead of luggage with wheels. Dinner food (tahu cabe garam dan buncis telor asin) were inedible due to the extreme saltiness. Other than that food is good, breakfast is cooked on the spot. The bathroom has a bit of open concept, so expect leaves falling in on windy days and of course house lizard or geckos (cicak).

The javanese style with good view, pool is kind of warm due to exposure of the sun which is great. The room has traditional touch but with modern bed and comfortable. Not to mention the bolsters! (Guling) is a nice touch, smart tv, spacious bathroom. Thank you for the room upgrade and adjoining room with my family. Food is generally good, love the fact that breakfast is cooked on the spot. Price for room service is also good. Staff very polite and friendly.
