We stayed for our honeymoon. The resort was in a great location. It was perfectly located for the beautiful sunsets and great snorkelling (a secret gem). It was in a slightly quieter part of the island however it was easy walk to other restaurants and bars or you can rent one of the bikes onsite to explore. In my opinion it was the perfect spot to be on in the island to get the best of both worlds. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t have been friendlier. We stayed for the seafood bbq on the beach, would highly recommend this. The rooms were large and spacious and won’t disappoint.

This was the resort my daughter cried to leave We love Gili Trawangan. We found it relaxing, beautiful beach, beautiful food, amazing accommodation. Staff are brilliant.so helpful.. Snorkeling amazing. Lots of people BUT all happy and holiday mode.

Unfortunately, there was dead coral on the beach under the hotel, but it was still the prettiest beach on the Gili Islands.

The best possible place we could have picked on the entire island. It's tucked away from the busy and loud turisty area so it offers quiet and privacy. The restaurant is right on the beach and offered delicious food. We loved hanging out there for hours and just read, worked on laptops a bit in the shade. Such an amazing piece of heaven.

The path to go to the different bungalows is hard to walk, I have sensitive feet and with flip-flops was difficult to walk.

Everything was great, the thing I’ve appreciated the most is the staff, they are just amazing. The bungalows are very nice, bed very comfortable, with a net all around for the mosquitoes and believe me you’ll need it! They give you water and amenities every day and room is clean also every day. They lend you snorkel equipment for free if you want. Bikes for rent. Very calm place far from noisy parties, by bike you can arrive in 15 min to the other side of the island where all shops and bars are. Breakfast is very good and there are many choices.

The food could be better

The house we had was very nice. Beautiful and all houses have sea view. The location was excellent for us. A little bit outside the party area.

This is our second stay at Desa Dunia Beda. We love the authentic nature of this property. It’s beautiful, quiet, and the staff makes you feel special.

It felt quite dry , but given the hot conditions, understandably.

It felt away from all the busiest part of Gili t . Super quiet, and peaceful setting but only a short bike ride away.

It was quiet and all the action is at the other end of the island. But it’s easy to get around the island with a bicycle and you can rent from the resort or they can call a horse carriage for you.

Very well kept, clean, private, quiet, very helpful and friendly staff.

There were contraction works on the road close to hotel.

Everything was fantastic. Staff was very welcoming. Food and drinks were amazing. Villas are gorgeous, quite and clean with 2 a/c unit inside. The location is quite, has it's own beach and pool.

Breakfast was fantastic and they were very flexible when we needed it early one day for a day trip. They also let us check in early when our boat arrived early. Special thanks to Dewa at the restaurant who was so friendly and personable, we really appreciated his smile and help!

The villa is cool - but it is a wooden villa so expect geckos inside and some mosquitos and bugs. They provide a small packet of antimosquito lotion. Some things like the curtains and mosquitier are disgustingly dirty. The manager who welcomed us had the dirtiest t-shirt I have seen in a while - I mean I know is GiliT and tropical location but some level of professionalism is expected, especially paying this price. The service at the hotel restaurant is lamentable but that's standard on GiliT the food is good.

The location is great and main perk - away from noisy bars, at the snorkelling beach. The villa had two AC working well. Environmental disaster to cool a villa with so many holes in the wood but it works and keeps you cool. The breakfast is tasty and served in front of the ocean. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves - just compared to other hotels we stayed this felt heavily overpriced.

I think its most Quiet place to stay in the Island. Amazing service, tasty food. I enjoyed breakfast and evening BBQ. Staff so friendly and professional. Comfortable big villa, nice terrace to sit. Very clean, i didnt see any bugs or mosquitoes. Hotel has pool with ocean water, bicycles for rent, beautiful sunset. Beach in hotel has amazing sea life and perfect for snorkling. From September (till I don't remember when ) water goes a bit away from coast , and you need to wear special sea shoes to walk till deeper water. I would reccomend hotel to arrange kind of floating walk way pontoon for a period when waters goes away. So guests will not damage corals while walking and will be easy to enter & exit the ocean. I will recommend hotel for my friends.

Beautiful and relaxed place to stay. Incredibly nice staff! The houses are very spacious and clean. The restaurant at the beach is very good for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We also booked a snorkeling trip through the resort. You can also rent bikes and bicycle to the busy side of the island in 15 minutes.

The lunch was not part to the hotel. The beach in front has a lot of stones but they have a salt water pool and you CA walk for a few minutes to turtle point and get to see the fishes and turtles.

The style ad cleanliness great staff, gave us early check inn, the breakfast was great. The bathroom was "outside the villa" but still in the room. Bathrooms were great overall.
