You sometimes need earplugs or headphones at night as they have live bands. My friend needed them, I didn’t as I sleep with all noise. Internet doesn’t work in rooms .

It’s really an interesting and cool place! The staff is nice and really accommodating.

One downside was that if you had an early morning wake-up for activities like a dolphin swim, the live music occasionally extended past midnight, making it challenging for those seeking a peaceful night's sleep. Another drawback was the absence of mosquito nets and the not-so-airtight outlet walls, leading to some unwelcome mosquito encounters during the night.

We had a fantastic time at Funky Place Party Hostel in Lovina, Bali. The lively atmosphere and helpful, funny staff added a special touch to our stay. The nightly live music created an upbeat vibe, culminating in a memorable New Year party on the funky beach. Our overall experience was delightful, and we particularly enjoyed the treehouse near the beach, providing the perfect spot to unwind.

If possible funky place can upgrade the door lock from outside & inside then it would be great.

Superb location just few step to the beach. They have live band every night which would make ur stay more fun (if u into it). I meet amazing staffs there, we become friends and have fun drinking together with interesting conversations. I miss that place already. Definitely will stay there again if visit Lovina in future.

the place is very unique if you are looking for a fun and unique place this is it !!! the room look like a tent, and the bathroom 🚽 i have even no word to describe it. the staff is super nice and friendly if you are looking for quite place don’t go there and nearby there is a super Vietnamese restaurant MeVui accessible by the walk and even BCA atm

I was very surprised when I got there. It's a very pretty place, but not for those who like to go to sleep early. It's a party place with rooms. I loved the employers, very helpful. Beautiful tree house in the back (with ocean view).

The room gets pretty hot.

Great place with a huge seating area (and a treehouse with hammocks!) where you can chill. The back exit goes directly to the beach. Every evening was live music where not only the hostel residents go to but other people from nearby accomodations go there as well. The owner and staff are funny

Only thing that I was missing in the room is that it did not have curtains. Felt a little bit watched. But it is an option to hang something in front of the door so people can not look inside.

Extremely well decorated and a nice and comfortable room. The hostel itself had many nice places to relax and sit back. Very close to the beach and the little center of Lovina. A nice vibe and a good location for a drink with the live music and people. The hotel has put in a lot of work to maintain the place and even renovate the place during Covid, and it shows. Would recommend it to everyone.

Nothing to dislike :) Maybe if you like to sleep early this isn’t your place as the band plays till late every night!

We had the best time af Funky Place! We even decided to stay a bit longer because we enjoyed it so much. The beach club at the front is really nice and is a good place to just relax and watch the sunset. The staff is the absolute best part about this place; they’d do anything to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed the food, the (small) pool and the live band who would play every evening and made a good party each night!

The location is a win, it has a very nice restaurant and a bar with quality live music every evening. Mita the manager was very helpful, she even called a taxi to Ubud for us! Very very nice overall<3
