- it needs some proper maintenance. Its somewhat worn out, and with some work it can be brought to good standard again. Its in line with the price though…..

- great set-up - villas are large, very nice pool, great garden. Truly the genuine Bali vibe still there. Not as in Changu etc, where everything is small sized gardens and too modern.

Whilst it was a great (unexpected) workout, the large amount of stairs down to the bottom villas would ideally have been made known at the time of booking particularly if someone has a disability/elderly/carrying extra weight. The resort itself is beautiful but is a decent taxi ride to get anywhere for the day - theres few shops and limited food options within walking distance. The room/villa we were in was older, with extensive renovations needed to get it to a 5 star rating for us (missing tiles, dated furnishings).

Our villa was huge for two people, with ample room to relax. The bathroom and bathtub was massive. The resort grounds are beautifully kept, with the flowers and gardens bringing a lovely fresh vibe - great to return to after a long day adventuring in the busy areas. The pool in the villa was lovely - very private, clean & the view into the rainforest was beautiful. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful, as well as all other staff we encountered during our stay. The breakfast options were great - portions were decent size and kept us fuelled throughout the day.

We stayed here as a family during my wedding, we had the wedding reception here also. What we didn't like was the master bedroom, it just couldn't get cool. Due to the wooden roofing and dated air conditioning the room was always really warm. Every other room in the villa got very cold but ours wouldn't. Spoilt the wedding experience a bit for us.

The villa we stayed at was incredibly beautiful. Each of the 4 rooms was spacious and like a small villa all by themselves, very comfortable. The pool was wonderful, the dining area and kitchen were perfect. The dining area was perfect for all 8 of us to enjoy some wonderful meals around. The kitchen facilities were ideal, as we hired a chef to come and cook for us and they could do everything in the kitchen. The staff at the site were incredibly helpful, when my wife and I complained about our room being so hot, they prepared a second villa (with 4 bedrooms!) for the two of us to stay in for 2 nights, where we had another smaller room (again the master bedroom wouldn't get cool). We were able to spend the nights in that other villa whilst spending the day with the family in the original villa.

Service was slow when ordering drinks. A bit run down. Could do with a refresh. Our Toilet wouldn’t flush properly in our villa. We changed villas, new villa was good. Creaky bed and loose boards around main pool

The fact we were all DESPERATE for a bath in the amazingly humongous stone bath tubs in each room but the water was no where near enough hot running water (it was barely warm some days). The fact our breakfast was messed up most days. Breakfast could have been great, but either the chef cannot interpret the English words on the "special breakfast menu" or they just improvised what they thought something was. My advice to the resort is to physically translate your English words on the menu so you can recreate the accurate dishes. Be warned you may get something completely random I.e. I got an omelette for Spinach and feta fritters. The wait staff also need to improve their English to clearly communicate back because as lovely as they were, they messed up quite a few times. The fact I had to sleep in a single bed and pay for it because the person I was sharing with had a girlfriend. The villas only suit couples.

Although we didn't get the other 4 bed villa I asked for :( we all really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately because the pool didn't really get much sun in our r bedder, I didn't use the pool at all, just the main pool by reception which was really great. The place is dated, but it has character, its vintage and I like it! Who wants clinical white anyway?! The ladies in the spa were amazing. Had some fantastic treatments. The gym was more than adequate.

My hair turned green after the pool, so I have to fix it at the hairdresser. Ladies with blond hair, be careful and pin your hair up high. - green hair - old facilities (if you are going to cook) - our pool at the villa was pretty cold, but it's because of shadow

The staff is very helpful, the administrator Gia is the best!) We were checked-in early in the morning upon arrival and we were extremely grateful for this. The two-floor Villa Prinia was wonderful with jungle view, birds singing and the scent of frangipani. Spacious, clean, appliances and furniture are a little old, yes, but we did not cook, so we were not disturbed by this moment. Breakfast is good, but it could be more varied. + staff + villa + gym (large space, there were even yoga mats and small dumbbells, water in the cooler)

The breaksfast was not the best, and they should update their booking description as there are some facilities listed as spa and free drop off services that are actually not available.

The staff was very helpful, specially the morning’s concierge who helped us to change our room as we were placed first instance in the farthest villa, which is quite isolate and has lots of steps to get to it. The facilities are good, the swimming is really nice and everything is very clean.

The villa we stayed in could be renovated, it looked a bit tired and some plumbing issues in the bathroom.

The villa was so beautiful, the property was manicured to perfection, it felt so private and relaxed. The staff were incredible, everyone from reception to waiting staff to gardeners- so friendly and helpful. Breakfast and the dinner we ate at the hotel was superb.

We paid for jungle view villa, on our arrival day hotel told us that instead they give us 2bedroom villa, they did free upgrade, we didnt want any upgrade, that villa hadnt any view. I was almoust crying so hotel told me that we can move to villa I paid for only next night. And was any explanation why we didnt get that villa we paid for. We stayed there 3nigts, so 1night was totally ruined. So make sure before staying there, that you really get the villa you ordered.

If you get the right villa from your arrival date, you will be very happy because villas are very nice but we didnt, so one night we were very sad.
