It was just difficult to walk up with your luggage the day we were leaving but it's to be expected when staying on the side of a mountain

Restaurant perfect for the breakfast, but the dinner did not taste fresh and felt like it did not get the same love that was put into the breakfast.

We had a feeling that some of the staff were laughing at us behind our back. They were really nice to us directly though, it was just a strange feeling. There was no open bar at the pool, which was also a shame, because you could not order a drink there.

The room was really big and clean, the view was fantascic. We even received free Netflix and new snacks everyday for free. Food was also really good.

Everything was exceptional. We loved the room, the terrace view with nature (waking up with squirrels) and hills (btw we spot exactly zero mosquitos despite rainy season:)), restaurant food, the breakfast style, the restaurant view (you can see sunset as well), the heated big pool and the staff, who was really lovely and helpful and it felt like they actually meant it:) + the location is breathtaking as well, an absolut must for those who want to stay in nature and enjoy waterfalls nearby. Well be coming back hopefully:) 11/10, thank you!!

We were very happy with the location, but it is a bit far from anything else, so I can imagine it is not for everybody. Best mode of transportation is a scooter (which can be rented at Giriwood) or private driver. Grabs don't reach the area.

The villas were beautiful, very spacious and clean. Giriwood has a lot of amenities like the swimming pool, ping pong & billiard table, and a TV with Netflix account in each room. The snacks and water bottles in our room were replenished daily, which we found a really nice gesture. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, we basically only ate in the restaurant of Giriwood.

The restaurant at the hotel was on the pricier side (by Bali standards) and serving sizes were on the smaller side.

Really lovely rooms with a beautiful view over the jungle. The bathroom was huge and overall, everything was very comfortable. The food in the hotel was good, staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was beautiful.

Beautiful place and beautiful nature. Super cozy, spacious room, nice terrace, everything was very comfortable. Good Wifi, Netflix. We were staying only one night but I would love to come back for sure. My mum got sick and the hotel staff were really helpful polite and we really appreciate their care and attitude

Everything was beyond my expectations.

The place is very quiet, we were in 5 hotels, resorts and villas in Bali, this was the best place to stay. Away from the noisy Bali, you will be staying in your own villa with a magnificent view to the nature. The swimming pool is warmed from 8 to 8 pm. You can play billiard, table tennis. The TVs are with Netflix included from the owner. I loved this place. Sadly we have only stayed for one night. The restaurant was the best. The breakfast was very good.

It is in the mountain so it is cold at night so you need extra blacket but this is a dream hotel!

This place is awesome, Munduk is so worth visiting and this place has to be the best place to stay. Beautiful rooms with amazing views of the jungle. Also the restaurant is incredible! And really good value!

Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff were so nice and helpful, the food was magnificent. The heated pool is so fun to swim in as the weather can be a bit chilly. The room is clean and well built, with an amazing view of the green mountains. The location is next to some beautiful waterfalls that one can be reached by foot. The best hotel we stayed in Bali (yet).

The accommodation was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and responsive. Good breakfasts. The hotel is within driving distance of all the beautiful waterfalls in northern Bali (Sekumpul, Banyumala, Aling-Aling). The pool is heated, and you can swim in it even during cool evenings while enjoying the view of the hills and the jungle illuminated by the setting sun.
