Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIf you’re coming from UK/Europe be aware that this is a 3 star hotel, not a 4 star.
Helpful staff who tried really hard to provide a good service - when we had a problem with the air conditioning in our room they moved us to another room. The food in the restaurant was very good and the hotel does serve alcohol.

MalaysiaI have made double payment for the charges in respect of my stay in the property. The charge for the stay is RM728.41 (Rp2,277,000.00). During the booking process in Booking’s application, I have made a payment using a credit card to book the stay. Thereafter, on 31.5.2023, the credit card has been charged for payment for the sum of USD236.33 (RM1,122.02). On 2.6.2023, during the check-in process in the said hotel, the hotel’s staff has informed me that the earlier payment made is for the purpose of repayment. This amount will be refunded to me after check-out. The staff then required me to make another payment in the sum of RM728.41 (Rp2,277,000.00). Hence, I have made the said amount using a debit card. To-date, I have not receive the refund of USD236.33 (RM1,122.02). I have tried to contact the hotel through messages via Booking’s application. However, I did not receive any reply or response from the hotel. I am very concern on this matter because this seems like a scam due to suspicious nature of transaction. I am also did not expect that I have to make another payment upon my arrival in the hotel.
