Amazing location within Ubud... just one street off the main street but feels like another world away with a cliff top position overlooking the jungle. Great pools, both in the Villa and in the resort with fantastic views. Such a great place to just relax there were days when all we did was stay in the resort! Staff couldn't be better - super friendly and always welcoming.

We have stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and we absolutely loved this hotel. We booked it with an airport pick-up and we are so glad we did it. When we arrived we had a big delay but the driver was waiting and everything was working out really well. The driver was very kind and we got a bottle of cold water and a cold towel. We were so glad for this. The trip to Ubud was also very smooth. Also the check-in was very smooth and the receptionist was very kind. In general the hotel staff were so friendly and kind. The room we have stayed was absolutely gorgeous. It was so big and very nice. Also the pool was great. The food was amazing. We loved it. Only the price are bit higher than out of the hotel. The price for the spa is compared to outside of the hotel too high so we went to a spa outside of the hotel. We also booked a private tour with the hotel for 8h. The hotel told us the driver will also be our guide. It was a really nice tour. The driver/ guide was very nice and kind, but we had wished for that he would tell us a bit more about the temple, history and culture. Even if I asked him, we didn't get a lot information out of him. Maybe it was a miscomunication of the hotel that the driver was also the guide, but we had the impression that the driver/ guide was more just the driver than the guide. So saddly we didn't get a lot of information during the tour. But overall we had a very nice day tour and this is about the information is complaing on a high level 😉. The monkey forest is by foot about 20 min away and really worth to see it. At the check-out day we had to leave before 7am to catch the ferry and couldn't get breakfast. So we asked the day before about the check-out and they offered us to prepare a breakfast box. I guess I never got in an other hotel before a breakfast box. They prepared so a lot. It was amazing. We had food for almost the whole day😅.

United StatesPlease have more plant based food options. It is so easy. Like tempeh skewers, fresh rolls with marinated tofu with glass noodles and veggies, tofu curry or stir fry. Food offerings were too European Loved sitting outside on our covered deck listening to rain and birds.
Big rooms if you can get high up floor has wonderful jungle views Good lotion and shampoo. - smelled great. Comfy bed. Fridge in room. Big tub adorned in fragrant roses to welcome us. Good vibe. Colonial meets Asia in tea room with views. Complimentary Yoga some mornings Increase masseuse by Sastra at the massage. The best I have had on the trip Complimentary 10 min foot or head shoulder massage as part of our booking was sooo good and generous on time. We had a bauble on my breakfast egg (allergy and am vegan) instead of tofu scramble but they fixed it pretty quickly and handled it with such professionalism and generosity. The only reason it is not a 9 is because of the lack of plant based food options

CroatiaThe staff at the reception are friendly, but there is room for improvement in their professionalism (when we arrived to Bali they forgot to send our transport to the AirPort and when we called, they said that we probably made this reservation with booking and that we should check with them, after we send screenshot of their confirmation, they appologized and said that they can organize our transport, but we were already in another taxi. The reception appologized for the mistake when we arrived and surprised us when said that because of that we have 10% discount on our additional costs (accomodation was already paid). But when we received our bill, there wasnt any discount. The lady at reception explained that discount was related only to transport, which was not the case because several times we ordered transport via reception and we always had to pay full price directly to the driver. Also some of reception staff ordered us shuttle for Ubud when we called, some requested that we first have to come to the reception and then they will call and we had to wait at the reception, other said that we have to order shuttle one hour before coming. Etc) Resort is quite small. Occasionally there is a not so good smell in the main pool.
Excellent staff in the restaurant and bar. Excellent food and coctails/fruit juices. Excellent cleaning and accomodation. Very nice view from the main pool. Good location of the resort. Very good massages in the spa. Nice organization of dinner with traditional food and dance.
