The hotel was divided into smoking and non-smoking areas. It was only upon my arrival that I learned that I had to add a fee if I wished to have a non-smoking room.

What I liked most was that it was well-situated (not far from the airport), it had a big enough swimming pool and also a restaurant.

It was a short ride by taxi to the airport. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the food in the restaurant was good and the breakfast was delicious.

For the money we have paid, it was fine. Of course the hotel rooms can do with some refurbishments, but that counts for a lot of hotels we slept in after the 3 years of Covid.

This hotel has the right value for money. It isn't fancy, it isn't new, but it serves its purpose. You can have a decent sleep, the staff is friendly and the swimming pool is set in a nice garden. Don't expect too much, but that is just all good as you're paying a very reasonable price. The beds are fine and the hotel is well situated in town.

We bought dinner at the hotels restaurant, and was not very happy with what we were served. The food was not very tasty. Breakfast, on the other hand, was good.

Good value for the money. The hotel room had a good standard. The room was big, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had also good facilities.

Fitness room was terrible!! Top floor with glass facing sun and no AC, so it was super hot and humid in there. No way to work out! Very disappointing. Also, the water in the shower could have been hotter...it was warm but not hot water.

Room and bed were comfortable and had space for 2 adults and our suitcases, plus workspace. Plenty of outlets (but guests need to remember to bring adaptors if from US. Bedside tables and lights were good. Pool and garden area view was very nice. Restaurant was good.

The hotel is pretty decent for the 1 night you’ll probably spend in it on your way or back from the orangutans park, the alternatives are definitely not better so don’t doubt it. I read some comments very negative but don’t agree at all with them. The location is nice; although there’s no much to see in town. The bed was comfortable, they provide shampoo and toilet accessories and also has a nice minibar. We he dinner at the restaurant and was good.

The staff were great. We arrived very early and they provided us some drinks and fruit and did not charge for them. We waited by the pool and the room was ready by 10am and they came to get us!!! It is the best hotel in Pangkalan Bun. The breakfast was also quite good the next morning.

But very strongly that have a rule that says all superior rooms are for smokers, it smells horrible! Luckily we git an upgrade, but still.. we called to get a massage, the massager did not speak English, so the reseptionist had to call for us to ask. She never called back to let us know if it was available, so we called after an hour of waiting. She saied one of the workers were sick, so only one of us could get a massage. We asked to have one hour each to split it, but they still wanted us to pay for 1and a half hour, and did not see this as unreasonable. So we went without tje massage and waisted a lot of time..

The hotel in it self is very nicely decorated. The restaurant was ok.

Spacious and clean room and bathroom. Thankful for non smoking room as many smokers so at least it didnt smell. Had an extra bed for my daughter. Breakfast good choice. Polite and friendly staff
