I slept in a single person tree house. I didn't know I was getting that BUT I overcame the fact I was in it and it was more like glamping. I had to go down my stairs in the middle of the night to use my bathroom. I didn't time my drinking before going to bed.

The staff! They were so friendly, helpful, and just so kind! They took all my bags up in to single person tree house. My breakfast was so easy to be ordered by them and they keep the grounds clean. I will say it was cool overall to say I slept in a tree house.

My only concern would be that it would have been nice with air con in our room. They have rooms with air con so in the end it’s our own mistake to not book one of those.

The location is marvelous, truly a hidden gem. Supercosy garden with a really lively pool and wonderful staff. Very comfy bed and such a beautiful room!

The staff were excellent. Kind and considerate. I experienced food poisoning while I was staying there. This is hard to manage when travelling alone. The staff were so good to me. Assisted with supplies, supporting me and getting medical assistance when required. It made a huge difference to a really hard time. The pool is lovely and the resort is very reasonably priced.

The smallest house/cabin options are not fully closed off to the outside - there are wooden slats and openings in place of glass windows, so you may get critters coming in at night. It was also quite smoky at night. Not all accommodation options have air con so read the description carefully.

The wooden houses are unique and well maintained. Bathroom is large and fitted with standalone shower and large bath tub. The grounds and pool are also pleasant and well maintained and the staff were very polite.

There was black water coming out of my tub and faucet but the staff were quick to fix it and went out of their way to make sure my stay is still comfortable. They even offered me to use another room's bathroom while they fix it. Nothing really to dislike.

The villas are superb. I enjoyed the outdoor bath and tub. And even though it rained in the evening and early morning, I love how I can enjoy the outdoor bath because of the canopy. The outdoor bath also gave me privacy because of the thick foliage just outside my room. The pool outside was also perfect to have breakfast. I love the villas, perfect for couples, families or even those coming in single like me. I love how close to nature I was there was even a Tokay Gecko in my room! Rabbits and birds are also present in the garden.

This property refuses to give my family a refund. We arrived at the property and were shown to our room with our young child, we booked this room as it had air conditioning and a couch for him to sleep on. There was no couch and we had to pay an extra $30 for an extra bed. This is an expensive hotel compared to the others in the heart of Ubud, we picked it because of the look of the property and the treehouses for my young child. The room is a third of the building you see in the pictures and a door with a sheer curtain separates your bed from the guests next door. The room felt overwhelmingly hot so we decided to go for a swim. Wondering why there were no seats around the pool we soon found out,. Fireants, within 30seconds of putting our towels down we had bites to our legs and groin areas, 2 that I am still being treated for. There was no warning of this from the property. We returned to our room that was still unbearably hot with an inconsolable little boy with bites. The phone temperature still read 34 degrees Celsius. I looked at the hotel rooms at this hotel before we left and paid extra for the air conditioning for my young son. I called for help with the air conditioner and a man came out, took the remote outside for 5mins and came in and said it was fixed, it wasn’t. The hotel offered to move us next door for the night as they acknowledged it wasn’t working, this was late and my child was sore and tired. We did not want to do this as it was not the property we booked and were told to take what we need and they would sort it out in the morning. We went back in the morning and the room was still 35 degrees Celsius so we decided after the previous night we could not stay there that day or night. MY young son was also horrified at the idea. Although I would like a refund for both of the nights we were going to stay I only asked for 1 nights refund. The manager assured me before I left that this would happen.

Nothing was ok for the price I paid! I paid for an entire villa when I was given for a tiny room, the room was decaying, pieces of metal fell in the night, was moldy and a nest for mosquitoes! My breakfast arrived 30 minutes later my request, the room and bathroom were dirty . For complete the package I paid for have a full villa by myself and I was in a hostel room where I could not speak or watch tv because my neighbors could hear everything… they yell at me to be quiet… and I could hear them as they were in my room… this is unacceptable!

This propriety has a lot of potential but I ended up being scummed and pay a great amount of money for a room with paper walls 70$ for a hostel room is a scam

I thought I had booked a treehouse, as there were pictures of such on their website, and "treehouse" is in the name. However, when I arrived it was ground-floor room and no treehouses in sight -perhaps I missed something there. I was excited to use the hot tub, but was very dissapointed when the hot water would only run for about 5 minutes -not nearly long enough to fill up the tub. Taking a shower was cold due to the hot water issue, and there seemed to be no drainage system as the water from the shower flooded the bathroom floor. My biggest complaint was the very, very, very loud nightlife -frogs, I think. Not even covering my head with a pillow and stuffing my ears with tissue would help much with the noise. They kept me up all night long. At the end of it I was sad I didn't get to experience anything I had been anticipating, and a little grumpy the next morning due to lack of sleep. Also, keep in mind their name is both "Green Treehouse Villas" and "Green Bird Villas". I spent about 2 extra hours trying to find the place on google maps, since the only name I saw anywhere was "Green Treehouse". I finally found it by asking for directions several times and troubleshooting which similarly-named villa it could be.
