I did not like the view. I preferred a tree house but al was fully booked. And stayed in a family house myself which was too spacious. Nevertheless cool hotel. Only thing are the renovations. Especially at the pool. Not really relaxing.

Can’t find any faults

The location is amazing, in the middle off greenery, every hut is super private and facilities at this resort is amazing, 180 view of the most amazing sunset. I don’t think you could or got a better view in Uluwatu. Loads off activities and staff were so friendly

There were quite a few bugs in my room which kept waking me up as there isn’t any mosquito net so was a little bit worrying. I also had a surprise when I arrived - Big spider waiting for me but the staff was very quick to resolve it.

Staff were very friendly, however a little bit slow sometimes with service. Could perhaps attend to pool lounges for drink orders a little more frequently. Otherwise no issues and we had a fabulous stay and will stay again

Feels like you’re in a little rainforest oasis. The treehouses were spacious and comfortable, it was quiet and the pool area/ view was fabulous. Awesome location- easy 5 min scooter ride into either Bingin or Uluwatu which was nice to be slightly out of hustle and bustle.

Great stay, just a minor detail like the bedroom and bathroom doors not closing. And we were across a new house so there were some construction sounds, but we were gone most of the day so no problem.

Beautiful upon arrival, lovely to wander around the property to your 'house' which was gorgeous, loved the balcony for writing and reading in the morning. We booked excl breakfast because we love to go out, but picked up a proper coffee in the restaurant to enjoy on the balcony. Cute there are chickens on the property, many butterflies, cant wait to see what the property is like in another year.

We wish there was a shower cubicle in the bathroom. The water simply splashed everywhere which made the bathroom slightly messy.

Elevated high up over Uluwatu. A fresh new resort offering something different in the area. Resort is very new Beautifully designed Private cabins are spacious and well-appointed Has lots of potential Great value for money

What you need to know is that the resort is in the middle of nature. Therefore, it can happen that you will have a few insects in the room. However, the staff is very helpful in case of any problems.

The Gruen team is super amazing, everyone was so friendly and caring and always happy to take wishes to make the stay as great as possible. The rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished. The pool with its amazing view is really nice and I have also enjoyed the peacefulness and the quiet environment in the hotel a lot! Thanks for making this stay so special.

Beautiful resort. Can’t fault it. Great for our family with one small child. They have a little playground, chicken pen, kids pool next to the main pool and the family villa is perfect. Very clean and helpful staff. The breakfast is really nice and food is tasty. The location is maybe 5 min scooter out of town which is absolutely worth it given the views from the pool across the whole ocean. Sunset is breathtaking. Highly recommend anyone to stay the value for the money is fabulous. We will be back!

Wow, my stay at Grun was absolutely fantastic! The hotel houses, the beautiful palm and trees around, the refreshing swimming pools, and the feeling of calmness made for an incredible experience. I have to give a huge shoutout to the amazing staff working there, especially Anna L. and Keke. They are always smiling and go above and beyond to make sure everyone's stay is extra special. Oh, and if you're coming to Grun, you simply must take the yoga class! The yoga teacher is absolutely fantastic and takes personal care of you. I felt so happy afterward, even though I sweated a lot during the practice - but with a smile! Overall, I couldn't be more grateful for all the care, the warmest welcome, and the absolutely fantastic food at Grun. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. In fact, I'm already telling all my friends and family about it! I truly hope I get the chance to visit this wonderful place again.

The amount os mosquitos is quite disturbing... it was hard to sleep at night and I get this happens in locations like this one, but I've been to other hotels where rooms are fumigated to avoid that. If that's too hard, there should be at least mosquito nets in the beds. Maintenance is OK but some things are starting to break. For example, some doors are hard to close or don't close already.

The hotel is quite cool as it feels like you are in the jungle – you're surrounded by trees and can hear the animals during the night. The main area, where the pool and the restaurant are, is fantastic. The staff was super nice, specially at the restaurant.

The resort overall is amazing. The architecture is really beautiful. After a lot of sightseeing and adventure in Bali we chose the stay in this hotel and it was the perfect place to relax. The food was great and the pool area is beautiful. The staff also was really helpful and there for you all times. The included breakfast is really big and delicious.
