This hotel is absolutely stunning. Most important thing - staff. Incredible group of people that work at hotel. Friendly, kind and always helpful in every issue. The big villa we stayed was great, great ocean view. Hotel is located on the hills so it’s worth to rent a motorbikes. Hotel has motorbikes available in good price and very good shape.

Although it was only a 10mins drive from spots like Uluwatu temple, the surrounding is far from anywhere else and might be hard to walk around. But the isolation away from towns is what makes it so peaceful.

Beautiful resort, calming environment and just felt a sense of peace staying there. Waking up to the sounds of nature in our beautiful room is nothing short of wonderful. It was a nice getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful 24/7, felt welcomed from the moment we stepped foot here. Would definitely come back again when they finished their yoga center!

The property isn't finished yet, so looking forward to revisiting when it is. To really make it an impressive hotel they need to look at the finer details - wear and tear on umbrellas/ sun beds, no service around the pool you have to walk to the bar, quality of food is fairly low and mostly western, small bath towels, no hand towels, amenities in the bathrooms, grounds around the villas could be better kept. However for the price it was still value for money and I would return!

The pool area is beautiful, with fantastic views. We stayed in a two bed treehouse villa and there was so much space! It was fantastic for a group trip. We also had total piece and quiet and could be as loud as we wanted in the villa. It was very private! The staff were really responsive and helpful so thank you for that.

However, it was not value for money because of the lack of services and amenities. The room was almost empty with no toiletry and only a shampoo and shower gel. Only two big towels, no face towel, no bin in the toilet....There were missing many many small things and all together made the stay not 4 star or luxury. No spa, no gym, no activities. Only the restaurant/bar and the pool. But the main concern was the "empty" room.

Really nice location away from the main busy part of Uluwatu but really close to go if you want. The staff was friendly, polite, smiley and the front office agents ready to assist you with really nice suggestions for dinner. The breakfast is really nice, the room and the whole experience to live in the forest were worthwhile. I had my birthday and they decorated my room accordingly :)

We stayed in a villa and it was amazing. The views from the villa were super good, also the the swimming pool of the hotel had an amazing view where you could see the sunset. The staff super kind, they were willing to help you with whatever need you had. They were very friendly with us. In general everything was perfect. We would repeat it.

The neighbor was talking loudly on the balcony until 3 am so we had to go out and ask them to stop it so we could continue sleeping.. so the walls and windows are not sound proof. Maybe they should have followed the house rules. :( there’s no phone in the room so couldn’t call the room service and the qr code didn’t work.

It has been amazing to be surrounded by so many trees and enjoy the sound of nature plus the interior matching the outdoor vibes. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also great. Being welcomed by the staff and their kindness was world class!

Although we loved our stay at the Grün Resort, we were disappointed by the state of the bungalow and the quality of its construction, in particular the bathroom. It was our understanding that the resort only opened earlier this year, yet the bathroom looked like it had been used for years. Most of the bathroom was made from wood or wood-like materials, which is of course amazing and fitting for a treehouse, but is difficult to clean and maintain. Something we noticed was that the sink (which, again, was beautiful) that was attached to a wooden shelf was slightly hanging down as the wall it was attached to was too thin to support its weight. As a result, water would not flow down/out of the sink and we were slightly worried that the whole thing would fall off eventually. Given the beauty of the resort overall and its incorporation in the surrounding nature, it made us sad to see that the construction does not appear to be very sustainable.

We loved the pool area, which has an amazing view and is very nice overall. The resorts is also beautiful with the treehouses hidden in nature.

After only 7 months the structures are looking tired. Wooden door frames warping and pathways and car park flooring coming up. Didn’t quite live up to the pricing

Some of the finishes of the hotel are a bit "wacky" though. Apart from that, we had nothing to complain about.

Grun Resort Uluwatu is a wonderful hotel with a great location close to Uluwatu's centre area and the Beaches. The swimming pool has an amazing view.

You need to be aware that you are in the nature and that means it’s a jungle and you shouldn’t be afraid of the animals living in the nature :)

Never had such an outstanding welcoming hospitality! Everyone is really interested in making us comfortable as much as possible! The concept is unique to life in the green surrounded by the nature.

Honestly nothing!

The pool area needed more umbrellas. The only other minor fault for our group was breakfast could of been better. The bread/toast was never cooked to a toast level , it was just warm bread.

The resort was well laid out so it offered privacy. The styling was divine and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Amazing pool.

Transport rates from hotel around town, I found quite high. But driver was excellent - super flexible and always available.

The location set up on the hill had wonderful views from the pool area. Our treehouse was quiet with a lovely view into the forest. The food was very good, especially pool side restaurant. Staff, super friendly and helpful. Very much appreciated refilling our bottles with water and efforts to resuce plastic waste.

There was too much light coming to the room in the morning and also in the midday because of the sunlight the room was a bit hot even if you turned on the A/C.

The treehouse was beautifully designed! The location was kinda far from the center but if you rent a scooter it won’t be a problem. It was really quite at night which makes the sleep more relaxing

The restaurant was absolutely awful. We were shocked that such a good resort could have such a terrible restaurant. It is a serious downside to an otherwise excellent property.
