We just stayed one night after coming from the Togian Islands but the owner Harry and Mimin are such lovely and welcoming people! As we didn't have a plan what to do that day we stayed with them and talked a lot, played games and went with Harry and Mimin to a Karaoke place at night. Such lovely and heartwarming people. Room was easy and with a shared bath but totally fine for one night. We left very early the next day (4:30 am) and still got some breakfast to go.

Just to inform travelers, this is a homestay with homestay comfort and facilities. Do not expect everything to be super clean and perfect (shower was cold for instance), which was not a problem for us for 1 night but just better to know in advance. Regarding Gorontalo: In case you'd like to see the whale sharks be aware that it is a "feeding" activity which is not good for wild animals

We spent one night on our way to the Togian islands and it was a perfect stop-over with friendly hosts who could help us book our tickets to the ferry and answer all our questions ! We had breakfast and also lunch offered: thank you so much! Then Harry drove us to the ferry and helped us to board the ferry. Thank you Harry !!!

Harry & Mimin are great hosts and help you with everything. They have a homestay in the city and countryside. We stayed in the city. De rooms are basic and good for one night. If you plan to stay longer take a countryside bungalow. They are beautiful. Harry and Mimin invited us for dinner there. And if you want to make special trips, contact Harry before your trip. He has reallly great ideas for all over Sulawesi and more. Harry and Mimin are also doing great things for the people in and arround Gorontalo. As an exampöe they opened 2 schools. If your're a good teacher and want to help contact him too. WE LOVED THE PLACE AND SHOULD HAVE STAYED LONGER. NEXT TIME WE KNOW BETTER.

Good location in town, nice relaxed vibe. But best of all was how nice and helpful everyone there was. After the ferry to the Togeans was cancelled the morning we were going, Harry went above and beyond trying to sort out different options and ultimately helped get us and other guests on our way with the best alternative. Breakfast was also nice! Their other recommendations were appreciated too, such as the whale shark tour!

It's even difficult to explain how does it feels, and that's not for the perfect accommodation and the amazing western breakfast, but it's for the amazing person that Harry is! He speaks English fluently and can organize everything for you, but most important, he do a lot of charity for the people living around and still fighting for try to change the world! Travelling for three months, and he was one of the best person we met... We are very grateful spoke to him!!!

We had such a nice stay with Harry and Mimin!! They are the nicest people and we had such a good time with them. They took us to dinner and karaoke one night and the other we went to a wedding. They also helped arrange alternative transportation when the ferry did not run. Thank you so much for a nice stay!!

Harry was offering options to go to Manado with private cars. We booked for 3 of us and the trip was really awful. The driver was smoking, eating very smelly food, phoning while driving, making a lot of stops to smoke, asked for more money for the AC and had an issue with his motor so we stopped 10 times to cool it with water... It tooks us more than 12 hours to arrive.

Harry and Mimin are the best ! Amazing experience and family. We loved it. Thank you for the help, advice and good mood 😊

I had a wonderful short but very comfortable stay! Mimin and Harry along with the rest of the Homestay are exceptionally kind and extremely helpful people, who will get out of their way to make sure the guests are looked after. Mimin is the expert trip organiser to arrange all transfers, tours, ferry and boat tickets for you. Absolutely wonderful. The Homestay is basic and comfortable and the atmosphere is great. Harry and Mimi are the best hosts! Really helpful with tips for Gorontalo (whale sharks and colonial architecture!), for arriving from Manado and for the ferry to the Togean. They helped a lot and were very friendly. Breakfast is nice and there are some restaurants 5 minutes walking.

The atmosphere there was so nice that we immediately felt like home. Harry and Mimin are wonderful persons, they helped us with everything we needed and even with things we didn't even know we need :) we stayed just one day, but we felt like leaving friends when we went to Togean.

Having the sink outside of our room,

the host was so wonderful to get up at 5:00am to cook breakfast for us, Harry was extremely responsive to all of our questions. The breakfast was perfect.

Mimin was so helpful in organising my trip to Togean! Harry booked a cabin for me. I would not be able to do it myself as you need to call the captain. Mimin got me the tickets, went everywhere with me and showed me everything on the boat, which should not be taken for granted. This ferry has nothing to do with beautiful European ferries. Its a tough test of endurance, but thanks to those guys, I got supercomfortable cabin with AC! She also let me checkout very late, so I could stay in the AC room. The breakfast was nice and all the family was very nice and helpful It was very important for me to meet those people in Sulawesi as this place isn't easy for travellers, especially solo female travellers. I already put up with the fact that my trip here was gonna be an ordeal.....They do a great job supporting foreigners and actually managing the tiny amount of tourists willing to visit Gorontalo.

Mimin and her family were very friendly and helpful, in arranging airport pick-up and transfer, organising food and beverages and helping out with tipps on attractions around the homestay. I definitely recommend this place to other travelers and love to come back one day with more time.

There’s nothing that I didn’t like.

The host and his staff are super awesome. Both Harry and Mimi ensures that we are immediately felt welcomed. Exactly what we hope for when we are travelling to new places and destinations. His team led by Fajar is very attentive and always there to help. They also provided valuable advice and information on getting to the awesome places and what’s expected so that there are no hidden surprises. They even take us for tours ie Lake Limboto and Fort Otonoha in their pick up for free. The room is spacious, super clean, has a comfortable bed, great aircon, clean functional toilet.
