The limitation of this hotel: drop off area is in different level with ground, and no bellboy to help with the suitcases etc, so we need to do self service. The parking space is very limited, as I came here with own car, we use the valet service with no additional charge (but just extra time to wait for the car to come). But other than that is satisfying. If we need hotel to rest and did most of the activities outside the hotel (not enjoying hotel facilities), this hotel is a very good option.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel: the location is in the heart of the city, since I intended to go to tourist attraction in the city so it made easier for us when need to take rest in the hotel in the middle of our activities. The service from the staff was great, I requested for interconnecting room but since they do not have one, they povided us side by side rooms instead. The room was not very big but the functionality was great and I like the cleanliness of it. My 11year old kid can enjoy the breakfast with us without additional charge.

The staff during check-in was very helpful and accommodating. Room is spacious. There is Indomart Fresh just next to the hotel for convenience.

Since I was in my business trip, the broken electric outlet is a big no. Sorry Holiday Inn, I could have given you excellent rate if it worked properly. In my opinion, the wall socket is also mispositioned. It should have been placed vertically instead of horizontally. Mostly people use 2 pin socket and it can only be properly inserted when the outlet position is vertical. The carpet under the table in my first room was wet. I recommend you to check all the leak possibility on the glass window. It was uncomfortable.

The prompt reaction of the staffs when I was complaining about the wet carpet. They instantly offered another room and let me check the room facilities first. Also with the engineering who promptly helped me with the malfunction electric outlet. Those were so nice and helpful since I was in a business trip with the need for no-hassle working environment. Breakfast is simple and typical mid-range Hotel, but it was well cooked and well prepared. I appreciate so much for early breakfast time (5.30 am), since it can be useful for those who want to catch up morning trains or flights.

I mistakenly choose the smoking room, so the room and corridor is very smelly. Told the staff and they sent cleaners to treat the odors and it was better.

* We killed 2 cockroaches in room 0502. I think you should insect spray the whole room. * We can hear the traffic quite loud from inside the room. * We must always use vallet because no enough space to park our car. * Breakfast very humble.

The parking space! Please mind that they only have a limited space of parking lots. So if you stay here bringing your own car especially during peak season, parking will be a problem. They offered a valet services, but if you need to access your car quickly, it will not be possible. Other problem we found is, actually the room is clean, the linen sheet is also clean. But we found a big hole in the vitrage. It does not cause any trouble during the stay, but it's sad to see that the property didnt maintained well.

The location is excellent. quite in the city center and close to a few malls and food centers. If you're staying for a holiday, this place is great to reach any Landmarks in Semarang. The room is quite spacious (not to big, not to small). Plenty space to put your luggage. The bed is comfortable. The AC & hot water is working properly.
