How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All staff full of smile and very helpful. They know what they have to do. From the main doors, the receptionist, the room service, the security, and off course the breakfast area. The breakfast superp delicious.. so great.. my family love it.

we only stay for 1 one night and most of the time we were not in hte hotel. But we enjoy the room and the most unforgetable thing is the view from our room , so beautiful.

When we arrived the kettle was not working and needed replacement. Then the TV wasn't working either, the engineer came to fix it.
The room design was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the view was great.

The cleanness of the pool, I think because of the rainy seasons sometimes the small bugs (Laron) are everywhere and they die shrinking in the pool. A big pool is okay because the debit of water is huge, but a small pool for kids, should be more attention for this because the debit of water is not as big in the bigger pool it makes itchy in the skin. Maybe cleaning and use filter especially in the small pool will be better,
The staff, facilities, and pool are amazing. Thank you for your work.

The poor food and beverage quality when I ordered room service. Fried rice, which is a speciality of Indonesia, should never be substandard. It was oily, predominantly tasted of soya sauce and the portions were small. The Thai ice tea is actually coloured water, very dilute and nowhere near the real beverage. Travellers are nowadays more exposed to international and regional cuisines. Hotels offering international items have to be very sure of their offerings, given the steep prices charged in your menu. Disappointing really.
Friendly staff, very basic and clean, and the sustainability approach.

Towels could be newer. Other than that, all exceeded my expectations.
The room is well kept. I only had lunch at the restaurant. Waiting staff were very helpful and accomodating.

The cleanliness of the dishes at the restaurant. The mugs at the coffee corner were all dirty, I went like 10 of them. The cup and the plates as well. The location is within guarded residential hence quite secluded -- better to buy some snacks/water/other stuff you may need prior to checking in. But if you don't mind walking and exploring, you can find small local shops (+/- 2.5 km return) from the hotel.
I came on Saturday at 1 PM and they allowed early check-in without hassle. The lady at the reception was kind and much of a help. I loved how they provide bike and allow the guests to explore the sister hotel (red: Novotel).

The hotel located some how far from the attraction places in Puncak. The breakfast menu is limited to local recipes.
Nice stay in quite and beautiful place and freindaly staff.
