Obiwan made everything possible. Even after the restaurant closed he made us a coffee. We booked the tour also over Indra Valley and we enjoyed it a lot, especially the rafting back on the river. The accommodation is directly at the river and the view in the jungle is beautiful! We had a very nice stay, thank you Obiwan and the staff !!!

Amazing location where you can look straight into the jungle. Considering the location this is by far the best you can get. The service was outstanding Obi Wan and his family are trying their best to make you feel comfortable!

There was not breakfast or meal choice. Also, although the location by the river was good, the hotel was quite far from the road, so we had to hire porters to carry our baggage, with a charge.

Very good location by the river. Our room had a superb view of the river and the jungle on the background, but had more than double price in comparison with other rooms, which had not any view. So, I recommend to choose the expensive option. Comfortable, clean room. The hotel owner organized a jungle trekking for us to observe orangutans, and we were satisfied from this service.

Obi wan and his team really go that extra mile. We booked a jungle trip. Both the guide and Pirman made it a wonderful trip. Pirman and our teenagers had so much fun. A strong recommendation. (Bring earplugs though, the river nearby can be loud)

The property was very nice and clean! Deluxe room is very spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view. You could even see different animals from the balcony. Obiwan and his team were so kind and helpful. We really felt like they treated us as family instead of guests. Very genuine people. Their jungle trek is the best! They know the jungle so well and also treat the animals respectfully.

Take this mantra from the crew seriously : "You are here for holiday, NOT for competition." Tips: If you can't comprehend, go seek the Master (Obiwan) when you are there @ Indra Valley. Interesting trip, friendly people, and please don't forget to tip if you are happy with the service rendered.

Beautiful location right on the river, you can watch monitor lizards and Monkeys while eating a delicious breakfast. The food in the restaurant was excellent, we ate almost every meal here. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Obiwan and his staff were all extremely helpful and kind with excellent English. We chose to organise the 2 day jungle trek with them and it was a great decision, the guides and the overall experience was excellent.

Great place by the river and national park boarder, we have seen orangutan on the other side of the river! Very kind and helpful english-speaking staff. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds, tasty food in the restaurant, many small shops and other restaurants nearby, WiFi working very well. :)

Budget room has no hot water but we found this fine and you can upgrade to deluxe room if you'd prefer.

The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful if you want to book any tours or jungle treks and he helped us organise a car from Medan to Bukit Lawang which made it very easy. The place is nice and the food at the restaurant is tasty and very reasonably priced. Would recommend staying as it's nice and close to the forest and not too busy an area.

We had a great stay here, Obi is the best host, he cares so much about his guests, also his staff is very friendly and helpful. The direct view to the jungle is just breathtaking, like a wallpaper. We booked also the jungle trekking by him, was a great experience! We recommend to book the deluxe room with hot shower, very comfy room!

The beautiful river is noisy.

Attractive property next to river, with pretty gazebo on the river. Obiwan, the owner, helpfully upgraded us to better room, comfortable and large. I would book there again.

Well designed room. I was totally charmed by the view of the jungle valley village visible from my balcony The river ran right by my windows, and this produces a white noise effect. I arrived on a Saturday night, and would have had to listen to karaoke without it. I’m a light sleeper, so this “feature” was quite useful for me. I should also note that the manager-owner is really good and effective in communication. His English is quite strong (which, incidentally, compensates for the limited skill in this regard among the broader hotel staff).

We had a really great time at Indra Valley Inn and for sure recommend this place. Obiwan was great at communicating with us before we arrived and made sure we had a nice stay. The jungle trek we organised through Indra was also amazing - we had a great guide Imran who was very knowledgeable and the delicious food in the jungle was a bonus. Obiwan also helped us organise transport and other day tours - anything you need really. The location of Indra Valley was also really good - far away enough from the main part of the village to spot monkeys and birds from the balcony and restaurant. A nice place to chill out while not trekking

Staff was great. Obi Wan was very eager to address all our issues Did an amazing trek with an excellent and friendly set of guides. Hot water. They made special arrangements for my dietary issues. Fun vibe at the hotel. Arranged excellent transport to and from Bukit Lawang. Room with view of river and jungle. Surprisingly comfy given remote jungle location. Thanks for the laughs and great jungle trek guys.
