the room was the first one and then it was noisy due to people walking and close to bar/restaurant area. room doesn´t isolate the noise from outside, we could heard a lot of noise and people talking from inside the room. room floor´s clearness could be better

Nothing everything was perfect

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jago Gili Air during my trip to Gili Air, and I cannot express enough how incredible my experience was. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the exceptional service and the overall quality of this establishment. First and foremost, I have to mention the outstanding Wi-Fi connection at Jago Gili Air. As a traveler who relies heavily on staying connected, I was pleasantly surprised by the lightning-fast internet speed throughout the entire property. Whether I was uploading photos, streaming videos, or video chatting with loved ones back home, the Wi-Fi never let me down. It was truly the best Wi-Fi I encountered during my entire trip. The cleanliness of Jago Gili Air is simply unparalleled. Every corner of the property was meticulously maintained and spotless. From the common areas to the rooms, everything was immaculate. The housekeeping staff did an incredible job ensuring that the cleanliness standards were upheld to the highest degree. The bedsheets were fresh and crisp, and the rooms were always in pristine condition. It was a joy to return to such a clean and comfortable environment after a day of exploration. The staff at Jago Gili Air deserves special recognition for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment I checked in until the moment I left, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and attended to all of my needs with a warm and friendly demeanor. They were knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Amazing staff, so helpful and also it was super nice how they were with our toddler. Also, when booking they didn't have a crib but when I wrote them they told me they would arrange it and they did. So lovely and we appreciate this since we really wanted to stay at Jago. Location was amazing, rooms comfortable as well as the bed. The pool area very chill and the breakfast very good. The mosque didn't bother us, it's part of the island life and not so loud that it wakes you up. I want to make a note of the Dutch guest that gave a 6 somewhere before my review. Very unfair and if anything, they were the ones with constant long faces since they had some private issues not related to the accommodation. Thank you for everything everyone at Jago! Our stay at Jago Gili Air was exceptional. The staff and owners are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. The room and communal areas are really clean. Really comfortable bed and loungers next to pool. The WiFi is really fast - good for anyone remote working and taking meetings online; we stayed at another place in Gili Air which unfortunately had really bad WiFi, so ended up coming back to Jago. Thank you to everyone at Jago Gili Air, who made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable! We will definitely come back next time.

* The rooms have some damp (perhaps due to the climate & concrete), but the staff are keeping things clean. * The large foyer area would be great with some fans, esp at breakfast time. It's a real nice area but a little too hot to use at times. * The call to prayer is close by, and was very loud some nights at 4am ongoing (not Jago's fault, but a down side to the hotel's proximity). * Somewhere to open/lay out suitcases in the rooms would have been brilliant (only a small thing but would be a great help instead of scrabbling on the floor), and a bit more hanging space.

* A really nice minimal design to the complex and rooms, in a good location (just on the edge of the town, close by to lots of cafes & shops), and it felt private and safe. * The rooms are a nice size, with a good lay-out and features like lots of plugs/sockets and lights; plus a lovely bathroom and a brilliant shower with hot water. * The staff are really great here; they're totally attentive and on it if you need something, but are relaxed and no-fuss; a great combination; we felt very looked after. * The rooms are clean, and kept clean, the linen is nice, you get a separate pool towel and there's daily cleaning/fresh towels if you'd like. * There's a hot and cold water machine in the foyer, all complimentary, and no hassle to use, which was great. * There's lovely plants / flowers which give nice privacy to the rooms on the right side, and at night there's outdoor patio lights for each room if you'd like to have them on - and the pool area has lovely coloured changing lights with a great gentle ambience. * The staff seemed to gently manage the pool and seating area so it stayed calm and relaxing, even when there was kids - they do it nicely.

The mosque is very close and you can hear it from the room but they give you earplugs. The island is small and I guess you could hear it from everywhere. I would go back anyway even with this little problem.

I was there on my birthday and the staff made me find in my room a birthday cake and a nice card, I regally appreciated the gesture. The staff in great. Breakfast bowls are really good and colorful. The position is great and close to the harbour.

The maintenance of the property and cleaning could be better. But please note that the accommodation standard on all Gillis is not the best.

It is undoubtedly good value for money. We liked the host and the staff. They are great people and very helpful. The complex is pretty modern, with a good pool (although quite hot). Good location - but keep in mind that it is near the mosque. The rooms are just big enough. Oh - we loved the breakfast :)

We were a party of 4 staying at Jago Gili Air and we can t recommend enough this place as our stay was so amazing. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, the pool is definitely a plus but more importantly is the welcome of the staff and even more of the owners Katie and Winston who waited for us as we arrived very late on the island and even prepared a little something to eat. They were really nice and cool. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay!

The breakfast was very basic .Lots of better options in very close walking distance .We had a problem with a dripping aircon unit in no2 bungalow but staff were quick to get it fixed.

Great location a 5 minute walk to the ferry port. Really clean nice & spacious room and big bathroom.Hot water shower.Nice Pool with loads if of comfortable lounge space around the pool.Close proximity to the Mosque so you can hear the call to prayer quite often but it didn’t impact our stay.Would recommend and stay at Jago again.

One tiny improvement would be better storage in the bedrooms - there’s no drawers, hooks, rail - so that is an easily fixable thing that would allow travellers to unpack a bit. But other than that - fabulous visit!

Awesome boutique hotel - so clean, the friendliest staff- Winston & his team really are so approachable and great to chat to - poolside bedrooms with air con, modern bathroom- and very centrally located. The pool area is great for a swim or sit & read and although the breakfast menu is small - the smoothie bowls - wow- so so good! I rented bikes, borrowed books from the little library, went to flowers & fire yoga all of 20 metres away, and just loved my 4 days there. Sure - you are close to the mosque and in hearing distance of the calls to prayer but then this is a Muslim island and that’s a side effect of staying so central: earplugs help a lot. Oh and fluffy the cat - great to meet the hotel co-manager -albeit it not as friendly as the rest of the team ;)

- The 34 qm thats shown in the details is surely with balcony included. So the room is actually a bit small. - The faucet is furred up so the water splashes everywhere - The bathroom is a bit hot since its not ventilated enough

- Good location only 5 mins away from the harbour - Friendly and helpful staffs - Good price for renting bikes, booking a group snorkling tour - The bowls are delicious - I saw couple of comments that stated the music in the pool area is really loud so it came through the room but during our stay there wasn’t case. We can relax peacefully there without exaggerating music

The breakfast is not great, the internet connection is mediocre and I did not appreciate having to ask for toilet paper because it is not refill when it is empty during the different cleanings.

A very nice hotel with a very nice and helpful staff. Jago Air is conveniently located right next to the port and beach but also has a large pool that is super hot with balls and tools for the kids. Moreover, the hotel is hidden from the street and allows a certain privacy that other hotels do not necessarily have in Gili Air.
