I really liked my stay at Jati, rooms were really nice and spacious, I had one overlooking the pool area, it was calm even though it is in the middle of Ubud. Staff were also very nice and accommodating, I would come back anytime. I wished I could have stayed longer then one night.

I stayed only for one night as it’s very difficult to get a room here last minute. The location is one of the major advantages. It’s close to the center but it is not in the chaos area. It’s less than 10 minutes walking from yoga barn, very close to the monkey forest but without the concern of having the monkeys around. There is a coco market less than ten minutes away. It’s a very peaceful place. The room was very spacious, you can see it on the pictures. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room and the toilets are very clean which is a highlight as some places lack of a good hygiene policies specially in the toilets. I strongly suggest to book in advance as they are a very demanded place. The swimming pool and the garden are beautiful, it’s exactly how you see in their pictures.

The pool is small and there were always a lot of children there in the afternoons. The breakfast buffet is a bit limited.

Jati Cottage is a haven amongst the busyness of the streets around. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good location - many cafes and restaurants not too far away. I had a room on the ground floor with a sofa (as shown in the photos). Note that rooms on higher floors don’t have the sofa, so if that’s important to you, ask about it. I was able to move down after one night in an upper floor room.

The geckos were a bit loud, but earplugs are provided if you are bothered by the occasional noise.

The room was spacious, the pool was beautiful, the breakfast was filling and very tasty and we had a couples massage that was sublime. I had a small accident and the staff helped clean me up. The whole experience was relaxing and special.

The spaciousness of the room. It has a separate wardrobe and changing area and then the bathroom which are all equally spacious. Also loved how quiet it really is despite the fact that it was close to the main road. The staff were very friendly always smiling and greeting you. Also LOVE the fact that they come and deliver the mosquito repellent wall plug-in and a bedtime story consisting of a short anecdote related to Bali, every evening. Mozzies weren’t an issue at all during my stay.

First few nights i stayed in the new wing consisted of 3 level storey, and i kept hearing very loud slamming door noise and sometimes heavy wooden chair moving. I then requested to move to opposite older villa room which only has 2 occupants over the 2 level storey villa, while road noise was noticeable at least there was no loud slamming door anymore. Every morning i found the balcony was full of organic trash from the bat resting and eating at ceiling at night.

We enjoyed our stay at Jati Cottage. The staff is so kind and welcoming. Once we got to the accommodation, they gave us a welcoming drink and helped us with all the questions we had. The communication with staff during our stay was really easy. The accommodation was great- clean and spacious, close to most of the tourist attractions. I would stay here again.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We chose to rent a car from the hotel. Taxi driver Adi was both a guide and a friend to us. He suggested places other than our route and showed us around, provided raincoats free of charge, and made all the arrangements for Nusa Penida. We thank him very much.
