Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Parta & Gusti and the rest of the family where really nice and helpful. The friendliest family you can imagine. The accommodation is very beautiful and comfortable and breakfast was great! The location is slightly outside Ubud, so less crowded than Ubud centre, which is very nice. And close enough to go anywhere quickly.

United KingdomWe loved the all stay
We absolutely loved our stay here. Amazing experience in a typical balinese house. The two brothers were the most welcoming when we arrived, and everyday of our stay. Always calling us by our names, they remembered every lite detail. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were so confortable and the toilet simply amazing, with a fantastic bath out in the nature. The owners were so kind to us, throughout the all stay, we cannot thank enough for the experience of staying here. We were able to rent motorbikes so easy, they helped us with a tour we wanted to go on and offered many experiences on the villa. Amazing stay.

RomaniaExcellent place for a calm stay in Ubud. Wonderful hosts (Party and family) were around to make sure we get all the support during our stay - starting with free ride to/from Ubud daily finishing with sharing with us wonderful coconuts or passionfruits which grow in the garden. Breakfasts are decent Own territory and swimming pool are just great to enjoy and chill. No noise during nighttime - except lizards, frogs etc., which create unique atmosphere :)

AustraliaNothing could be better!
The garden and pool area is a relaxing paradise. The breakfast included is always fresh, we really enjoyed the service and food for lunch and dinner options. Thanks Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and we were looked after very well from the family and staff. The shuttle to and from Ubud centre was very efficient, and close to nearby restaurants. We very much enjoyed the experience and connecting with the Balinese culture. Thank you for our stay we will be back!

Jero Sebali Villa was our first accommodation in Bali. We spent there four great nights. This villa is simply amazing as well as the hosting family. Big thanks to Parta! He met us at the airport, gave many recommendations and organized us a driver to the next destination. We had a two bedroom house in the Balinese style. It is very nice. Each bedroom had its own wonderful bathroom and shared terrace. The place is cleaned every day. The breakfast is simple but tasty. In the afternoon and evening, you are offered fried rice or noodle. One day we asked for a massage which was great too. The villa is a bit away from the Ubud center but you can reach there easily by taxi or bike. There are some hidden places just nearby as well. In overall, we had a great impression to be hosted by this family and can only recommend.

NetherlandsDo yourself a favor and book this place. We had a wonderful stay for 6 nights at this family owned hotel. It is very tranquil and after a visit to busy Ubud makea you calm down as soon as you enter the gate. The family welcomes you with a smile and is always willing to help (in an honest and truthful way). The place is spotless and the breakfast is superb with fresh juice and splendid Bali coffee. Their mie goreng is very delicious and there are some nice restaurants around too. The pool is amazing, so are the rooms. Massages and tours are offered. would love to come back!

United KingdomWe stayed at the villa for 3 nights. We were picked up at the airport by Gusti (part of the family who runs the villas), being greated by a big smile despite arriving in the middle of the night due to a delayed flight. That first warm impression remained throughout our stay as we were properly looked after and received loads of suggestions of things to do. The gardens of the villas are beautifully laid out with running water, plants, fish ponds and a pool in the middle of the grounds. The rooms were stylish simplistic with AC and stone floor. Our favourite was the outdoor bathroom, with black volcanic floor, a shower and a big rounded bath. Gusti told us that he'd always had the dream of creating an outside bathroom so that you can look at the stars whilst having a shower or a bath. You could clearly sense the love and care that has been put into this place (and an added benefit that the owners are from the island rather than westerners who have bought many properties to create Airbnbs). Our second morning we went on a bike ride with Gusti through the rice fields and tiny villages. This was the highlight our our stay, getting an impression of the outskirts of Ubud. Helmets were provided and we didn't go on any main roads as the bikes were transported to the starting point. Our ride finished with some tea and cake at Gustis house in the village. Ubud is a short ride away and free transport is provided by the villa in the morning and back in the afternoons. If you want transport any other time you can just let Gusti know and he picks you up for a decent fee, or you grab a taxi. We had a fantastic stay and would love come back!
