So cheap! Good value for money considering - great aircon and there is wifi, though a bit patchy. Staff were friendly. Doesn't mention on booking.com that there is no hot water in the property which we were told at check in but to be honest, it was so hot in Yogyakarta, this wasn't too bad. There also wasn't a sink in the bathroom so brush your teeth in the shower. The location is a bit out of the way of town but interesting to stay in a more local area - didn't see any other Western tourists!

Location is good. Several foodstalls are just around the corner as well as fresh juice shops. Manager helped us to organize the tour to Borobudur and Prambanan.

We contacted the property only to get response 1 day after check in, also the reply only for contact number. When we arrive also the receptionist look like didnt aware we hv reservation that day. The rental bike price start from 70k not as show in picture 60k, also when we rent the bike the receptionist didnt say anything and directly charge us bike for 80k. I understand that there is rate for bike but directly charged us the higher rental without consult with us is not proper. The breakfast also didn’t start at 7. The first morning the breakfast start at 8 and the next day luckily there is another customer/staff rang the bell so the guy wake up and serve the breakfast. The hospitality of this hostel didnt feel until our last day when the parent/elder staff take over.

Friendly welcome But I never saw any staff after that. The bathroom was slightly marginal but was incredibly cheap. Location is great if you had scooters. Well away from the center.

The owner is a very nice lady and very helpful. When we had a problem with our room we immediately got a better one. The price is very good and the rooms are nice. You can also rent a scooter there for a cheap price.

It's a fuss free accommodation. Big clean rooms, good ventilation facing the courtyard. It Has a rather unique interior design. It has a communal kitchen where you can prepare or heat up meals and enjoy them while chatting with other guests. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The homestay provides rental motorcycles and helmets for the guests. It is a little bit off the city centre but Jogja is a small town. Taxi makes it easy and affordable for guests to go around the city.

Even though it is a bit far from the city center, the atmosphere is comfortable and homey. The room is clean and quite spacious, unfortunately there is no place to hang clothes. Internet access trough wifi is provided for free. The bathroom is clean with swift water even without hot water. There is a shared kitchen that can be used to make coffee/tea or instant noodles. Breakfast is provided bread with various jams. For those of you who arrive earlier than check-in hours (13.00 WIB) an additional fee of 30k is charged and for those of you who check out at a maximum of 19.00 an additional fee of 70k is charged. Motorcycle rental is available in the price range of 70k per 24 hours. No car park available

The room is big and clean. The bed is comfy. Ambiance is unique n homestay is spacious with inner courtyard. The staff are always ready to help, service is excellent.

The place feels very serene with the green theme. When you're outside in the center garden/yard, you can hear the sound of the running water from the fish pond all day long which is very calming. The room and bathroom are simple but clean and definitely worth more than what was paid. The place is well-maintained by the staff. Location wise, it is located in a quiet neighborhood area but not so distanced from the attraction. Prawirotaman is around 2.5 km and Malioboro is probably less than 4 km from the property. Guests can access shared kitchen and common area where you can enjoy the bread and jam served for breakfast. (Imagine, for this inexpensive rate guests are still provided with simple breakfast). Everything is self service here which is why you feel like you're at home. Would love to come back if I have the chance. Thank you for the hospitality, Joglo Aruna.

Not all the staff was speaking English. During our stay there was construction work, what wasn't mentioned on booking.

Very friendly staff and quiet location with a lot of opportunities for food around. Cosey backyard to relax. They also rent scooters.
