The jungle gardens are absolutely beautiful. Great pool area, very quiet and relaxed resort. Room was stunning, and the food and cocktails were delicious. Great iced coffee for afternoon tea! Very friendly and accommodating staff!

It was like an oasis in the middle of the craziness of Canggu. The two pools were so pretty, and the breakfast was very good.

the walls are too thin and we could hear our neighbors even when they’re talking softly. mosquitoes are pretty rampant although they’ve ensured that there were mosquito coils burning during the evening.

it’s a very private area which we loved coming back to. Exceptionally cozy and quiet with lush greenery.

The outdoor bathroom and pool sounds great but in reality there were lots of mosquitoes which can’t be helped in the climate but if we were to stay again I would get a room without a pool.

The resort is beautiful with so many well kept trees and the pools are pristine. The staff were friendly and helpful. we really enjoyed our stay

We had to wait such a long time for the breakfast both of the days. I understand is homemade but it will be useful to have one more person working with the restaurant team. At least to have the coffee and juice while we wait for the main plates. The room was nice although the door that connected to the bathroom outside wouldn’t keep close (mostly due to wind), so mosquitos came to the room. Would recommend to put some mechanism to fix this. Also it’ll be really nice if there rooms were supplied with mosquito repellent plugs. And finally, it will be really nice to have more hangers or a place to hang the wet clothes or towels outside.

Although is not near downtown we love the area because it was more quiet. There are 3 yoga classes available everyday, and also 2 pools. The staff was really nice.

Some light fixtures were not working. Shower head could use a change.

Traditional Balinese concept hotel. Secluded part of Canggu which was quite a change after staying where the hustle and bustle is in Canggu. The property was also super quiet.

I couldn’t recommend Kalapa more: it’s like a little paradise on earth. Simply magical - a luxurious jungle stay, minutes away from the center of Canggu. My Deluxe bungalow was absolutely stunning with an incredibly comfy bed, and stepping outside in the lush greenery felt so special every morning. The two pools are true havens of peace (and cool enough!) and surrounded by greenery. Excellent breakfast and dinner options. The free yoga classes are not very challenging, but a great way to relax and embrace the Balinese gratitude.

Nothing...we loved everything about this place...!

We stayed here for our last stop in Bali and to celebrate my birthday. I did not realize the space that we would get for the villa -- it was crazy large, quiet and beautifully designed. If you're looking for an Indonesian experience, this place is heavenly. The grounds are spectacular - everywhere you look, someone has considered your view and you'll see an arch of bamboo, or an open pavilion to lounge in, or a large banana tree grove with two large pools that feel very private. The staff are very friendly, helpful and eager to chat with you!

Not much natural light in the accommodation. Limited hot water supply for the shower,

The place is quietly located in an otherwise busy area of Bali. The decor is really nicely done and feels quite exclusive. The outdoor shower was good and powerfull. Breakfast was nice and afteroon had free tea and a snack in the restaurant. Nice place to chill.

The bungalow was a bit dark during the day. The side facing the showing could have been glass.

Great location, surrounded by green and nature, out from the chaotic centre of Canguu but still very close to the centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with lot of options, and staff was also helpful to change it according to your needs. Room was big and comfortable.

I can't fault this experience.

I stayed in the VANA Premium Villa, so this review is based on accommodation in that room in particular, as I spent my entire stay in the one Villa at this property. It was surprisingly spacious, had 2 air-conditioners, a lovely space to sit and relax with an indoor daybed, chairs, and a coffee table, and was very clean. There were multiple windows throughout, all with a lovely nature outlook, and adequate natural light. There was a small tv in the room, but I only turned it on once as I prefer to relax and disconnect when I travel, but there was netflix etc, and the connection was good. There were multiple wifi points on the property. The only time I experienced issues with it was in heavy rain, however I experience that at home and it was rare, so it is a pretty standard issue anywhere you are. The bed was spacious and comfortable and had a beautiful mosquito net for added comfort. I ordered room service many times and also went to the restaurant, the meals were delicious and well presented and the staff were very accommodating to my dietary requirements. I had many spa treatments throughout my stay and they were divine, the staff even left bath salts with essential oils and herbs in the bathroom at my request on numerous occasions so I could run a long hot bath at my leisure after long days (The bath was enormous and the water piping hot if you like it that way!). I accessed the private yoga, the space was delightful and the instructor very calm and attentive, there were 3 timeslots a day, and they were happy to proceed even if you are the only person there at that time. The grounds were immaculate, and the public pool was fabulous and located right at my front door. Probably my favourite thing was the outdoor shower/bathroom.

There wasn't much that I didn't like, it was totally lived up to the descriptions. Reception is a bit under whelming, needs a bit of improvement, but it's functional.

Nicely isolated, private hotel not far from the main street of Changgu (10 mins on a scooter). The ambiance is wonderful; very chill, relaxed - but not overly luxurious. The restaurant is quite good, with very convenient opening hours. There are free yoga classes offered 3x per day, very basic but the yoga room is quite cool. The room was much better quality than I thought it would be.
