lots of mosquitoes got into the rooms when all doors were closed through gaps in the doors, when it rained water would come in through the doors, lots of stray cats every morning in the villas running around meowing, lots of real plants inside rooms which had bugs in the pot plants. aircon vents very dirty didn’t end up sleeping with ac on at night time.

I loved the location of the villa and the staff were all very welcoming and lovely. if we needed anything they would assist!

The villa needs some maintenance in general. The shower head was spraying water all over, no hand towels, empty candle jars, mould in plug sockets, no soap/tea, coffee, bulbs needed replacing and the floors needed a better clean, glass and taps needed some descaling, pool also needed more chlorine - I guess due to all the rain it hadn't been topped up enough. The sofa and chair upholstery needs cleaning and repairing/replacing in my view. The kitchen cabinets and appliances needed cleaning/upgrading. However, I shared this with the team and the the host and the team came round and fixed what they could immediately so the shower head worked fine, new bulbs, and cleaned the areas we highlighted e.g. removed the mould, floors, provided more towels etc. The kitchen was not a big issue as we had no plans to eat in.

There are 9 villas at Kawung and the location is fantastic for being able to walk to loads of fantastic restaurants, bars, shops, the beach. The host Febri and the team were lovely and super helpful and responsive- very kind - gave us an umbrella due to all the rain and we could leave our luggage there after checkout which was appreciated. I was able to what's app with queries and received responses quickly. The villa is a calming environment and bed linen immaculate. The wifi was great and I was able to work, do video calls - speak at a conference with no issues. Provided water each day as well.

The villa really could do with a deep clean. The kitchen in particular was quite dirty, but as we didn’t use it we didn’t really mind.

The location was sensational. Just a few moments walk to a cafes and shops. The host staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I plan to come back in coming months.

Not clean well at all. cupboards were dusty and leftover rubbish from past guests was found under the beds. villa was visibly dirty. Aircon in upstairs room was broken and very loud. this made the room very hot as it was all glass. Generally, the place was not well looked after.

None of the building was sealed so mosquitos were all throughout the villa. The villa ran out of water on the last day so no water to any showers or taps.

We have never had such a bad stay anywhere in Bali. Staff who did not help my 70 year old parents with suitcases. House was dirty but really dirty poop stains in the toilet. Kitchen cabinets that were falling apart with dirty dishes in them. Little to no kitchen supplies. We got another villa but actually wanted to go to another hot one. Apparently our payment was not checked by the staff during check-in and check-out and we had booked through booking how we booked our 1-month trip in total, we have not had any problems with payment at any hotel. However, she only sent us 2 days later that we had not paid. We indicated that we found this strange because we sent them a proof of copy, we indicated that we would contact booking and that we would contact them as soon as we heard something. This is where the drama started, we were harassed every day by them with multiple messages a day, to the worst, even though we indicated that we were waiting for a response from booking, we were threatened that if we did not pay now, the employee would have to pay for us.

The fact that it was filthy, bugs everywhere, the pictures were photo shopped, not air conditioner in the main part of the house, couldn’t open glass doors to get to outside toilets, nothing in the kitchen..not plates, silverware, paper towels..nothing. It was so bad we had to check out right away…Booking.com was not helpful..asked that we stay the first night while they worked through the refund, which never occurred. We had to negotiate with the owner directly and still had to pay the first night and their only response regarding the condition of the place was Covid. After using Booking.com for over 50+ bookings over the past year, this is by far our worst experience.

The place was disgustingly dirty, with large crabs living in the bathroom, under the fridge. There was a extremely large lizard living behind the closet and many insects around the villa. The couch was infected with insects and I picked up a rash on my lower back after my stay. The bathroom is dirty, full of rotting wood and mould. On arrival there was no toilet paper. The kitchen was old, dirty and appliances were dirty and stained. The air-conditioning was not cleaned and I fell sick with sinus and throat infection, which a doctor explained is from dirty air. This place is over priced and poorly managed and run. The young lady is in desperate need of support and training to understand how to properly disinfect and clean a villa. I would strongly avoid staying here, I wanted to receive a full refund after my first night but was never contacted back. Truly a waste of money, expensive stay to be infected with body rash and throat infections. Dirty, disgusting and poor villa experience.

The young lady who cleaned and met me with he key was very friendly and reactive. However she is over worked and very unstaffed.
