Very beautiful new guest house. Super clean, quiet and comfy bed. No restaurant in the hotel but they have dining area has free coffee, tea and water. Also they organise breakfast if you ask. All staff are polite and helpful. Highly recommend people who want to have cozy and relaxing place. Thank you so much. I had a great time. For location, I don’t say good or bad, just for the information, 10-15 minutes walk to Malioboro street 25-30 minutes walk to Prawirotaman street.

The breakfast was very basic and unappetizing. It was difficult to communicate with staff sometimes when trying to book activities (such as transportation, temple tickets, etc). A suggestion is to use Google translate to ensure your message gets across properly to prevent issues around bookings.

Looks like the temple at the entrance and around the corner. Pretty cool and relaxing atmosphere with all the wood and water around. Had a very nice time at the guesthouse. We can recommend! Thank you

Beautiful property, nice and clean room, good facilities, very friendly staff and good location close to the Kraton Palace. Very helpful staff. I had a problem with overbooking and Ratih helped me to get the booking fee back. I appreciated this a lot.

The property is located inside the palace area, with a big sturdy gate built in the colonial era to go thru ones can't miss to notice. Check in with easy access and surrounded with local culinary resto. A well maintained and cleand property in a quiet area. Friendly and welcoming staffs are very helpful, always offering helping hands to its guests.

The beds were a bit hard for our liking

The location was perfect (very nearby Kraton and in a beautifully charming neighborhood) and the staff was so helpful with everything. They spoke good English and were able to help with booking day trips and train tickets. Very satisfied overall with the our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable homestay.

Really great stay! The property is beautifully designed, feels very modern and clean. The staff were lovely, they were on hand over Whatsapp for any questions any time of day which was really useful, and helped us book a driver to visit Borobudur and Prambanan for a good price. The breakfast was also a good price

There should be more hooks for hanging things, a tissue holder in the bathroom, and a fridge (after a long hot day)

General system of the guest house functions very well. The location is just a walking distances to main cultural attractions of Jogjakarta, so close that I can sit at the open air lobby at dusk to listen to the live gamelan in rehearsal from inside the white wall of the Karaton.

Our stay in Kesatriyan guest house was exceeding my expectations. The room was clean and modern, the staffs was very helpful during our stay, and the location is really close with most of Jogja's main attraction. Really recommend this place and 100% will stay here again if I go to Jogja again.

We had trouble finding nice places to eat around the guest house. However, it's not too far from Malioboro (like 20 min walking) and Prawirotaman (25 min walking).

The room was super nice and comfortable. The common area had a machine for cold and hot water, complimentary tea and coffee, mugs, and bowls. The staff was nice and helped us arrange a tour to Borobudur and Prambanan.

Communication regarding breakfast options could be improved.

Kesatriyan Jogja is so far the best guest house I have stayed in. The property was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The property was beautifully designed. We especially appreciate the water dispenser and the complimentary tea and coffee in the dining area. The location is ideal for visiting the main attractions such as the Kraton, Tamansari or Malioboro street as they can be reached by foot.

Incredibly clean. The mattresses feel new and are really comfortable. Everything works in the room and there is consistent hot water. We booked for 4 nights and stayed for 8 nights. The staff are so kind and helpful. They took good care of us and went above and beyond to help us. They also arranged our transport to Borobudur Temple. The free water and tea was also a big bonus to save on plastic bottles.
