We didn't enjoy flies everywhere but it's normal in that area. And it was a bit noisy during the night, propably caused by the ceremonies.

The owner was very nice and helpful. He arranged a guide for us for hiking to the Mt. Batur and he drove us to the hot spring. He tried to answer every our question and explain the local life.

There is really nothing bad to say about the hotel itself. Maybe that there is no view of the lake and only one mediocre restaurant (with view of the lake) on walking distance, for other restaurants we needed transportation.

Wonderfull new and clean cabins with lots of privacy. The staff was friendly and helpful, we booked a vulcano sunrise tour with the owner and were so happy with how everything was arranged.

We need to call the hotel for the check-in because there is no standby receptionist.

We can choose 1 from fried rice, fried noodles, and omelet. The staff helped to carry the bag to the room. The room is very aesthetic, and beautiful. The Hotel is near Batur Lake.

Nothing at all, there are flies but not terrible and it’s just because of all the farmland.

Exactly as advertised, comfy beds, lovely bathroom. Sunia and his wife were so kind and could not do enough, they organised all our excursions and massages etc, loved it.

Not much to do in walking distance of the hotel but the husband and wife dropped us off in Batur Village and picked us back up in the evening which was very helpful.

Husband and wife that run the hotel and Jeep tours are some of the friendliest and helpful people you'll meet in Bali.

the location. nestled in the bottom of the valley near Lake Batur. the home stay was perfectly situated in a local village if you like peace, tranquility and nature. this is perfect!

Breakfast was quite small and limited in choice. The location is ok, but not a lot around, not a lot of places to eat, not a lot to do, hard to get transport. I would recommend just one night, to stay before going up the volcano. Nothing really in the town.

Cute little place, only 2 bungalows. Staff were lovely and friendly. Close to the boat to go across to the cemetery. They can organise trips/trek to the volcano.

there is construction work right next door to the complex, I stayed Saturday night until Sunday, was woken by a rock breaker on digger at 8:00 am so spoilt the experience which was a real shame

Sunia is adding a fridge which will be a welcome addition.

The bungalows are located in the village within a short walk from Lake Batur, a restaurant and bar, local warung and convenience store. The bungalow have a very comfortable bed with great linen, also coffee/tea making facilities. The breakfast of omelette and potato was delicious. Sunia is an excellent host and great to chat with. He organised a trip by Jeep to the volcanic area, took us to a delicious lunch of local fish from the lake and organised a driver to take us to Lovina. Yes, there are small flies during the day but it did not spoil our stay.
