Basic room with a fan, shared bathroom/ toilet, great location with different places for food around (warung), one hour away from Ijen. Best parts : no mosques around ( noise) & the breakfast was the best & unique I had so far in all my travels Lovely & friendly owners

Feeling of being a part of a local community… Nurul is the best host anybody can imagine! The home is surrounded by the nature, we had an amazing open bathroom. Everything is very simple, very real. Delicious breakfast made by Nurul as well. She also helped with organizing busses, tours, etc. She tried to help with anything we asked regarding Indonesia. We cannot imagine better host than her! Thanks!!!

There is a mosque nearby which was quite loud during the night.

A very kind family! We felt right at home here. The breakfast was great, the pool was a bonus, and they also helped organise our transport to Bali! Highly recommend!

The place was extremely cute and cozy! Not air-conditioned but it doesnt matter since I used it as a stopover for Mount Ijen. Nurul was also extremely nice. She picked me up from the train station as I was slightly scared since I am travelling alone and it was at night. Also, the breakfast was really nice!!

Host was very informative when messaging before around advice for travelling to the city and to Bali. Had no issue booking a hike of Ijen via the homestay. The food was great and the host even gave me a lift to the ferry port the next day!

We had 2 nights in La Belle Vie, and we are more than happy with the experience. The family is so kind and warm, they are the sweetest people. They helped us with everything, such as express laundry, fixing backpack, renting scooter, arranging trip to Ijen…And the breakfast was amazing, too!

Not quite walking distance to shops, but quite close to everything and easily accessed by GoJek drivers.

I was lucky to chance upon such a welcoming, kind and comfortable homestay. The accommodation was in a traditional design and has a wide shady verandah that catches the breeze. The room was comfy and all that I needed, with a strong fan. There was a share shower and bathroom, that was easy to access. Breakfast was an absolute treat and the kindness of the hosts Nurul and Aminah and family was delightful. For an authentic homestay that also offers tours and traveller assistance, I cannot recommend this more highly.

The homestay felt like a real one! We loved our stay - our room was decorated nicely and was clean. The shower was the best. The best thing about this place are the hosts, they are so kind and caring. The area is great too, felt very local.

Amazing hosts who were so kind to pick me up from the train station and drop me off at the Ketapang port. Very homey and they made me feel totally at home. Would definitely stay again and wished I had more time to explore the area. WiFi worked well enough but don’t expect to be a power user. For the price it’s hard to beat the kindness and hospitality.

Room was absolutely fine. They couldn't be more helpful organising someone to pick us up from our bus off the ferry, our trip up Mt Ijen, and a taxi to the train station for our early train. Breakfast was delicious and they can help you with anything you want to do in the area

Nice place, bamboo shower is good too but of this hostel is one of my best it's because Amina ! She is very lovely, always helping you if you need something, share the dinner with us, and take care of us, she is the BEST ! About the price/ quality it's definitely the best one in banyuwangi. You can also rent a motor bike and the mask for kawa Ijen ( for nothing compared to the other place) from the hostel. Thank you very much for everything you did Amina 🙏
