Receptionist was not welcoming. The room was not very clean. The room has no iron for clothes and when we asked for one they brought a broken one. The food was not delicious.

1. Reception staff were disrespectful. 2. Room was dirty, not properly cleaned and sewage smell was a lot. We asked for changing room 3 times and the issue was still there. 4. Buffet food was not fresh enough. 5. No sound proof system. We could hear whatever is said in nearby rooms and corridors. So annoying. 6. Insects were in the room. 7. Bathtub drainage was broken. 8. Bedsheets were unclean and torn in a very poor condition.

There are bad negative points : - staffs have lowest level of English language - room is not a modern - most thing I don't like was the breakfast everyday same thing and local menu not international . Also you don't know what you eat because not written by English

The five-star rating is far from expectation. The construction of the building clearly uses cheap materials, as it appears run down. Several floors smell like sewer as soon as you step out of the elevator (ie the ground floor to access the river and 5th floor to access the swimming pool). The interior of the lobby and the rooms are clearly not the result of work of a professional designer as nothing looks put together. Plus the hygiene of the furniture is seriously questionable (the arm rests of all the sofas are all so dirty). The breakfast buffet is so limited, and the quality of food is so terrible (eg breads are low quality, donuts and sweet breads are all they have). They have a Middle Eastern corner but even the Middle Easter guests I saw buy breakfast from elsewhere. The bedrooms are run down (ie the slide door of my shower couldn’t close completely, the bath up leaked after minimal use). They only provide 2 low-quality pillows for a king-sized bed, I got a neck pain after check out. Don’t even expect five-star beddings and linens. The restaurants’ seats are budget chairs and the food is like any normal cafe you could find in Puncak, but all menus are so overpriced. All main courses start from more than 120k. I recently visited Puncak quite often with my family, so if compared to other four or five star hotels in Puncak/Bogor region (eg Pullman, Botanica Sanctuary, Novotel, Royal Tulip), this hotel is so rundown and way below its competition. The staffs are friendly but not exactly helpful. I asked if they have an update of the traffic rule (as Puncak has one way policy during peak seasons yet the hours vary), but the staff eloquently said they don’t have an update and asked me to find out by myself. All other hotels I asked know this kind of update as it is not hard to place a security staff to monitor the road and provide update to the reception staff.

This is by far my worst hospitality experience that I have had in over 25 years of travel around the world. With a theoretically five (5) star hotel, you expect more, not less. This hotel is not a five star hotel, not a four (4) star hotel, but rather three (3) at its best. I have no idea how its rated as 5 star hotel. I have a long list of grievances, but I will try to be short and concise, and my point of reference is the calcification as a five star hotel: Our booking was for 6 nights in a Junior Twin Suite with Balcony however, the room was incredibly small. You barely have some space to walk in. It is not a suite or a twin room, but rather more like a single room. Parking space was very small and incredibly narrow. You have to make a long walk back to the hotel exposed to weather. When we arrived, it was pouring rain and we all got soaked wet. The hotel does not offer umbrellas for customers to go back and forth from facilities or parking area. Buying food and beverages from the diner or café you have to pay in cash or by credit card on the spot, they will now allow you to bill it to your room –how inconvenient?!- Upon going to the restaurant where breakfast is served, you are meet with this stingy sewer smell, a total turn off. Having breakfast was not a good experience as the food quality was poor. Even though the Indonesian food served is not that to taste or palatable. The hotel walls are dull, with no proper lighting in the corridors and it lacks art. No pictures, paintings, or decoration available besides in the main lobby. All you can see is wall walls around. When we shower, the drains are semi-blocked, so water will flow over and soak the whole bathroom floor. Sink is not far from that as well. Which indicates improper maintenance. Rooms have venting and open area, which allows the noise from outside to be heard inside your room. There is a river or stream of water next to the hotel and at night, you hear the sound very well and does not help

The only value for our stay was the view and nice location of this hotel, nothing else is worthy to mention.

the receptionist are rude. you ask something before even you complete your question they say no. you feel you are in military base. I ask to talk to the manager. told they have instructions no. they give me hard time before I get the room key. noise.
