We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amazing location! The pool and restaurant were great with two little kids (2 y/o and 1 y/o) The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and you get a lot of food too. Their smoothie bowls were exceptional - not part of breakfast but in their usual menu. They can organise a little truck into town for 150k or motorbike which ranges from 80k - 120k per day depending on what size bike. The bathrooms although could use with an upgrade were functional and clean. We had no issues with smell or water being too hot or cold. The bathrooms don’t have ventilation so can seem a bit “stuffy”. Our rooms joined together and one aircon worked great and the other was ok. There were quite a few centipedes which our kids loved but staff do try clean them up as much as possible. The stairs are steep and there is a lot of them but they’re safe. We considered changing our accomodation after all the negative reviews but are so glad we didn’t. We will be back to stay again.

Unfortunately the villa I was staying in, the bathroom had no natural light or ventilation so it had a very damp wet undesirable smell. When it rained, it would flood the bathroom which exacerbated the issue.

Best to know for anyone unfit or bugs phobic: Lots of millipedes Lots of stairs Room 5 had terrible smell in the toilet: the pipe stunk when you flushed which probably can’t be helped but a constant urine smell was there too which made it very unpleasant. Other rooms’ bathrooms by the pool didn’t seem to smell as bad Basic breakfast included but much more delicious food to choose from for extras on the menu

Stunning view from the restaurant and upper pool 2 minutes walk downhill to the local bay/beach with easy access from the beach to a boardwalk taking you to the main town: restaurants bars and shops both along the boardwalk (upper market) and on the main beach and town’s Main Street (all range) Great massage room with very skilled masseuse, got one of the best and strongest massage from Bali there!

The room was too warm for us and we didn’t sleep well the first night. We requested a fan the next day and they kindly provided a very good stand fan, then we slept beautifully. As others mention, you must be fit enough to climb the stairs. The road to get there is a fun one! To our surprise, it was so much hotter up in this hill than down on the beach due to lack of breeze. Also, there is no phone in the room to call a reception desk for any requests so you must walk down to the restaurant or office. Adding a phone in the room would be helpful. I would also not recommend buying breakfast. We paid for breakfast each morning and only ate it once because it was so basic.

Outstanding view from your room, the pool, or the restaurant. We enjoyed our time at the pool where you can have drinks and food from the restaurant next-door. It was very convenient to walk down a path to the beach and that path goes all the way along the beach to the heart of the main beach so you can eat or drink at many, many place. I would recommend taking a flashlight because it can be quite dark along the path. If you want a few days to hang out and simply enjoy the view and read a book, this may be the place for you.

The villa needed a little updating. The bathroom especially could use a renovation. The stairs (which there are many) on the property need some repair.

The staff were great and always helpful. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were a good size and the bed was comfortable. The property was very close to a beach. We had a view of the ocean from our villa.

Rooms were lovely, two pools to choose from. Yes there are some serious stairs but what accommodation perched on a cliff doesn’t have stairs? Staff were exceptionally helpful with anything we needed, scooters etc Perfect place for an easy paddle out to Playgrounds surf, board hire at the beach if you didn’t bring your own. If you aren’t very able bodied this could be a difficult place to stay with accessibility both getting around accommodation and to and from town; it’s either a nice walk or a good scooter on windy roads and bumpy side roads but nothing a taxi couldn’t fix. Seeing time to Nusa Lembongan; a lovely place to visit and much to do

The location and views were second to none. The suite rooms were fantastic with outdoor seating looking out over the ocean view which was also visible from the bed. The beds were very comfortable.

The food was absolutely amazing! ( highly recommend Tom yum goon, we had 11 portions between the two of us in a week) The staff were wonderful, very helpful and kind.

Absolutely loved the view, magnificent location, there were a lot of steps that are very steep( we found it’s best to get down those steps at about 4pm, because other wise it’s too hot), absolutely beautiful beach just down the stars to the left. The top pool doesn’t have any cover over so the best time for a swim would be about 4 pm and after, the water in the pool is a fair bit warmer than on the beach.

We will stay in a Suite next time as the Villa was a little bit dated and now looking at Suite options you do get a bit more bang for your buck. If you’re waiting on a knee reconstruction probably not the place for you but we did it with an 8 month old baby and it was so incredibly worth it. Loved the area! It is a bit out of town, however, a scooter, a $10 taxi or a golf buggy are all easily accessible options on the island.

The staff were the sweetest! Always willing to help. They also set up a lovely cot for our little one to sleep in as well with the cutest bedding, nice touch. The view is sensational. We were luckily the first villa up the steep steps and swam in the bottom pool as the hike up the top was too hard for us with a baby. However, in saying that, do check out the top pool at least once for the view! The best hidden beach of all of Lembongan is at the door step which was amazing and our morning ritual to have a 7am dip in the beach. We had a lovely massage at the Villas and lady was fantastic.
