Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

HungaryThe bathroom soo basic and its maybe for people who’s dive. Not feeling Bali style or any little luxury at all. I find it interesting that with a small investment, such beautiful places could be created from the interior plots. And they don't do it. Maybe later when there is more and more competition? You can’t really see people around so nobody is bothering you, no cleaning or fixing during one week stay, even if I said that the water does not drain in the sink. The manager is a bit pushy but thats ok, really I can understand anyway they let you know what they what. If you want something you can push too. So all good. I love to be honest, we need to trust in review.
I stayed at the best room on upstairs. There is a balcony. I stayed there in November, non rain at all. The view is nice, I could work from the dest at and looking to completely to the sea. The room is big, the bed was absolutely comfortable at my side, I travelled alone. The air conditioner does not point completely to the bed, so it is much better to sleep. There was no mosquito! There is a very basic kitchen downstairs, fridge and cooking option too. Free water good wifi.

SpainMinor details: the shower pressure was going on and off, the mattress was quite hard. The top rooms had all the same price but there’s one with clearly better views, in my opinion this should be reflected on the price.
Perfect location in front of the sea, really clean apartment and big room with balcony, common kitchen. Really nice host.

Right on the beach, great location in Amed, nice pool, quiet, clean sheets and towels. Helpful staff.

TurkeyIt was a home to me for a one month so I don’t know what to say. Location, Wi-Fi and hot shower was great. Those things were what I needed the most. Good for the value. Literally on the beach. It feels more like a rented flat or smt. You would have to ask for cleaning weekly. Book for couple of days and see how it goes. This is what I did.

United StatesWe couldn’t close or lock our front door the entire time. Our entry door handle broke right when we got there and I felt bad so I offered to pay. He said we split the cost so I gave him 150.000 and he said he would pay the other half. Looked like overnight he tried to glue the handle back on which obviously wouldn’t work. Bathroom is pretty ugly and doesn’t drain well. Not the nicest place but it keeps you outside
Loved being right next to the ocean and having the top floor view. The waves look intimidating but we walked right in and swam in the water with no problem. Shared kitchen and fridge downstairs. Also this place has probably the nicest AC unit we’ve seen.

South AfricaIt was extremely dirty, we walked in and found a dead cockroach in the middle of our room. When we asked him to clean it, he said “I am so sorry for everything” which suggests he knew about all we’d find .. The bath/shower were especially bad. The lights didn’t work. The shared kitchen was dirty and we had to excessively scrub two glasses just to drink out of them. The aircon also only had two settings: The Antarctic and the Sahara :( We cut our stay short and as soon as we said we were leaving it was all, “I can fix it, I can clean it, I have a much better room for you …” and on. We were completely unimpressed with the accommodation and service, and we couldn’t get a refund.
The location is gorgeous as it’s right in the center of town and on the beach!

IndonesiaHowever, the air conditioning in the room was not working despite the owner's promise to fix it. This made it very uncomfortable to sleep at night due to the stuffiness. The mattress on the bed was also awkward, and the bathroom was dirty, with no shower accessories like shampoo or shower gel, which was inconvenient for tourists. Additionally, the pool was dirty. After my wife left a review on Google regarding the accommodation, the owner sent her insulting messages on WhatsApp. It is entirely UNACCEPTABLE!
The location of the accommodation was great and had a beautiful view from the window.

AustraliaWe booked 2 rooms with my friend (we are 2 women) and we’ve faced all the following problems: Aircon doesn’t work properly (it stopped one night for both is us), my friend had to leave and look for another room the following morning. They have fixed mine but it doesn’t work properly, having a fan would’ve been better. The person who manages the place and collects the money is so rude and very intrusive. He was calling my friend at 7am in the morning on WhatsApp without any reason, he messaged me so many times on my Booking messages late at night asking me where I am. He doesn’t respect any privacy. The swimming pool is so disgusting that you can’t swim. The pictures on booking.com do not rely the truth about this hotel. Very disappointed for the money we spent vs the poor quality of the hotel and the staff.

We had an amazing stay, hotel is located on the beach, can't get any closer to the sea 😁 very enjoyable for morning coffee, afternoon bathing and sunset. The rooms were simple but very nice and calm. There's an open kitchen for anyone who wants to cook or store stuff in the fridge. The owner is very friendly and responds quickly on WhatsApp for any request you can have. A lot of restaurants near the hotel, a supermarket as well. Seeing the past bad reviews, I guess that they were picky people who spent their days in their room counting the amount of dust behind the bed. I hope to come again someday !!

PortugalThe location and owner are the best things about this place. Other plus: Decent wifi/internet, comfortable beds, decent snorkeling right in front (but head left up the beach for great snorkeling in front of Bobo), great restaurants nearby, and shop nearby to grab snacks or water. We decided to stay much longer here at Lucky Paradise because it's the most comfort for value we have had as we have been travelling through Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia for the last 5 months. Plus the snorkeling in Amed is amazing. We would not hesitate to come back to stay here.

The whole place needs maintenance and deep cleaning. Cash payment only accepted despite booking dot com saying they accept credit cards. Make sure to bring enough cash as the ATM is regularly out of money
Right on the beach and excellent for watching sunset with views over Mt Agung. Norman the Manager's son was great in finding us transport to Ubud on a public holiday.
