Great hostel! Only stayed there for a few hours before doing the 1D Bromo tour. Very clean and comfy! Bathroom was clean. Staff very friendly and tour guide really good. Great location closed to the coloured villages.

MADOR Dorm Hostel were the most helpful ever, they went above and beyond, answering all our questions and providing us with the best advice and recommendations. They really have the best customer service, everyone who works there is very very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean & spotless, very comfortable beds. The location is ideal, very central and barely any street noise, cannot complain. The 3day 2night Bromo Ijen tour was amazing from start to finish, provided us with great transportation and tour bus drivers Jim and Mr Boy were extremely helpful and kind to everyone, made each day better. Our Bus Driver Mr Boy is a true gentleman! 10/10 overall

Nice hostel in the city centre. 10 minutes walk to the rainbow village. Clean and comfortable beds. I booked here the 3 days tour and I simply loved it. I would definitely recommend booking it with them.

Wish I could rate Mador more than 10 points. Staff is so very friendly, always there to help and with a big smile. Being a solo traveller it almost felt like family. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean and you can order food. Nice lounge area both down- and upstairs and although it's located in a very busy street, because it is in a courtyard it isn't noisy. They organised my Bromo tour and that was great!! This is the place to stay in Malang!!!

However, the hostel is not very welcoming. The staff are helpful but it doesn't feel like home. But that's okay :) I think for one night it's a good option.

Beautifully decorated, spacious and clean building and rooms. The staff are so genuine and kind and always so helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough!! So much to explore in and around Malang, especially food. They sorted our laundry, scooter rental and Bromo tour. We extended from 2 nights to 5 and could have easily stayed a lot longer if we had the time!

I just spent a night in the hostel, but my stay was perfect and this was mostly because the people and the atmosphere are so nice that you don't want to leave. The hostel is very nice and clean , and the tours they have are very recommended. Dany, Nam and Anas are incredible people, very fun and also very helpful. Thank you for everything!

Perhaps a laundry facility would have been helpful for us, usually we use the bathroom to hand wash things but this was a little awkward to do in a shared bathroom facility with gender separated. Not a biggie though!

This place is great! We had lots of space to lay out our suitcases in our private room. Very clean place and can tell the bathrooms are checked often. Love the kitchen area and being able to store cold drinks. The staff are friendly and soooo helpful. They suggested vegetarian restaurants, helped us book our train tickets, and were all round very welcoming and accommodating. We loved our stay here.

Noise from common area carries to the dorms but it got quiet around 22:00. No AC in dorm but wasn't really necessary. No free coffee, only tea.

Close to train station, lots of chill out spots, rooftop terrace with big plant garden, hot showers, good wifi, very friendly staff, comfortable mattresses. Great value for money

I was on a bottom bed in the dorm so it was okay for me but I wouldn’t want to be on the top bunk it was at least ten foot in the air! All part of the hostel experience I guess!

Everything was all right!

The hostel is very nice. But the best in Mador is the staff. I will never forget what Anas and Viona did for me. Anas helped with my trip to Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls,if was not for him it would be impossible to me to visit my dream place. Viona did everything possible to help me with my transfer to Surabaya even when the people of the transfer sad they could not pick me up at the hostel she did not give up of me. Thank you very much Anas and Viona both of you are the best and i love you guys. Congratulations Mador Hostel to have staff like Anas and Viona. I recommend the hostel and i will go back.
