The room and bathroom were really big, clean and nice. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast super delicious. Also the view was very nice and they had a beautiful and well maintained garden. Everything was so lovely!

Loved everything about this property, such a large bungalow, comfortable bed, beautiful finishing to the room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast. We booked a walking tour around the rice fields and had a great time. Wish we could have spent more time, definitely a wonderful place to relax!

The villa was very clean, quiet and had everything we needed. It is also in a good location, close to many good warungs and scenic spots. Our host was really friendly, helped us get around the area for a fair price, organized a sunrise volcano tour for us, and even taught us some local philosophy :) Definitely recommended.

The location was perfect. You could see the volcano when it wasn't cloudy. Some nice restaurants very close by and easy to walk to. The owners were so friendly and we rented a scooter from them. Breakfast was great especially the big bowl of fruit as well as eggs or pancakes.

An extremely small point but my room was dark as the doors and windows were wooden. Added charm but needed to open door to let any light in. The other room they have has sliding glass doors which let lots of light in. Would not stop me from staying again. I loved it

The view of Agung and nearby mountains were stunning and a great way to start every day - the vista greets you every morning the moment you open the door. I couldn’t have stayed longer!

Arrived in Sideman and welcomed so kindly with my hosts, Ari and his wife. My room was very clean and comfortable. Little personal touches like soap and fresh drinking water. The shower was powerful and always warm. Outside is a bed and seating which is wonderful to view the countryside. Breakfast was included and delicious, especially Ari’s banana pancake! Easy to walk to some great restaurants and spa. Loved the sounds of the frogs at nigh! No a/c but a really efficient fan - It was such a delight being here and incredibly affordable. Thank you!

Great view of agung, located right in sidemen close to many restaurants walkable. The villa is spacious and very clean. The bed is very large and comfortable. The balcony was beautiful and such a nice place to have breakfast overlooking the garden. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Fair price for daily scooter rental (however they charge you by calendar day, not 24-hours) so be aware of that, even if you use it only for the morning.

I loved my stay at Maha Neka! Such beautiful hosts who welcomed me in like family. I arrived on a cloudy rainy afternoon, so it was a magical surprise to wake up to a picturesque view of Mt Agung from my room. The room itself is spacious and comfortable with a fan and mosquito nets. Breakfast was amazing, and I highly recommend having dinner with Maha Neka too, everything I tried was delicious and so authentic. Great location, great price and the loveliest hosts. I hope to come back one day and I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Sidemen!

Only thing is the fan in the room doesn’t help much with the heat so we were quite hot going to sleep but it soon cooled down at night.

Great location, quiet and remote but peaceful and lots of food places around. Ari was a brilliant host, made us feel very welcome and gave us a lift to Padangbai. Had water in the room and wifi worked very strong.

We love staying with Ari and Ayu whenever we are in Sidemen. The bungalow is good, the view is good, the food is good, and the best part is that you will be taken care of by a lovely couple.

The mattress is not the most comfortable one, but it depends how long you stay there. There's also now a construction going on in front of the villa that blocks the view, although you can still see mount Agung in good weather.

The villa is run by a very nice family, Ari offered very fairly-priced accommodation and taxi services that we used. Location is great, relatively quiet and close to the restaurants around, walking distance. They also helped us to get fruits as fruit shops and market are far away, and we didn't rent any scooter. Bathroom is very spacious, water pressure was great. We got custom-made breakfast. And we had a few interesting and deep discussions about Balinese culture and beliefs and life in general.

It seems Sidemen is growing pretty quickly so you'll see and hear construction work throughout the whole street. But it's something every homestay and hotel is facing.

Everything was great, very attentive and communicative. It supports local family business in Sidemen which is important as tourism grows with big investors. It's a small but very comfortable and clean place to stay. Bed is comfortable , bathroom works great. I prefer fan over A/C which was the case. There are a lot of options to eat around the area, especially for a short stay like ours (3 nights).

The only negative would be that after seeing all the good reviews about the pork ribs, that we couldn’t try them ourselves 😆 however, the tuna as an alternative was very delicious!

Wow! Words can’t express how beautiful the accomodation, location and the kind hearts of the family are. Such a tranquil spot with amazing views. We were really looked after. The villa itself was luxurious, spacious, peaceful. We enjoyed renting the scooter for the duration of our stay, all organised by Ayu and Ari. Would love to return one day, favourite spot in Bali 💚
