A lot of flies and very hot at the restaurant area, the roof there is a plastic one which makes it very warm. The pool was also pretty cold, which is probably fine for most and quite sensible in the heat, but not great for me to swim. The stairs from the top floor to the bottom floor are very funny and a bit scary. Breakfast is so so.

It’s a beautiful new property so very fresh and clean. Beautiful uninterrupted view over the pool, jungle and to the sea. Despite all the comments about noise, we did not notice very much, i think they have done some soundproofing amendments as the top floor had an extra layer.

This hotel is new, which is great because all of the facilities are in excellent condition. It is a bit retired from the beach, but they offer a shuttle service between Mambo Hill and Mambo Beach. The pool is nice and you can enjoy the sunset!

My first 2 days were perfect because no one was above me. Once I had guests upstairs my unit wasn’t so calming. You can hear everything word for word. I was woken up after midnight to music that they were playing in the room. I went and mentioned it to the front desk before 1am. It’s a wooden structure without insulation. Not blaming the property just people not being mindful of the surroundings or considering that people are waking up early to go diving. I would probably request upstairs but it was really nice being able to step right into the pool from the patio. The property was beautiful and I hope to return someday

The rooms was as beautiful as the view. Breakfast had nice options. The staff was great. Arranged pick up from the port and offer free shuttle service to their sister property. Loved the happy hour drinks. The room was beautiful and the lounge area stepped right into the pool. I wanted to extend to stay longer. Away from central very relaxing location. The plants and greenery are beautiful. Staff was very helpful with everything

There were flies flying around and dropped to my cup of juice during breakfast at the balcony which was a bit annoying

Amazing view from the room overlooking mount agung, the ocean and the pool. The pool was just a doorstep away with a balcony to enjoy room service. They provide a little cute bag with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast selection is sufficient. And they provide transfer between the resort and sanur harbour which is a plus point! I had a small accident with motorbike and they were helpful in providing first aid kit.

Mambo Hill is in the perfect location. It has a beautiful view across to Agung and the ocean with a cool breeze. My room was excellent. I just came to relax and slept very well and woke with the sunrise to a gorgeous breakfast on my terrace. The shuttle to the beach area was really handy to see 2x areas in a short space of time.

Staying in Mambo hill resort was an absolutely blissful experience, the staff were friendly , food was amazing , especially the complimentary breakfast 🍳.

There is no negative thing to say abou this hotel, but as described in other reviews, the hotel can be a bit noisy. However, we have experienced this throughout the whole of Bali with the noises from cats/dogs/roosters/tokehs. Therefore, we were prepared with earplugs and slept like babies!

Beautiful rooms, spacious enough. I loved the eye for detail and decoration throughout the entire hotel. The staff is very friendly and will help you with anything. We took the free shuttle bus every day to mambo beach dive resort, which was very convenient. The mambo beach resort is a very good place to eat, drink, listen to live music and to do some diving/snorkelling. Bonus points for the Nemo bus! The breakfast is delicious as well. We would highly recommend the pancakes and the coconut overnight oats.

Only thing I would potentially be mindful of is if you're in a bottom storey room and someone stays above you, it can be loud. We didn't have an issue with it, but that's the only potential issue I could imagine

Mambo hill resort was beautiful. So many plants everywhere, such a nice vibe, staff were so friendly and had a fun atmosphere. It's abit further back from the main area, so you get the peacefulness but as it's connected to the mambo beach resort, they do free shuttles to the beach. Super easy and covenant. Beautiful rooms, decor and delicious food !

Beautiful view of the ocean and Bali from our balcony. The pool was very refreshing and ran the full length of the resort. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend.

The walls are a bit thin, so sound travels easily but it was okay for us.

Excellent service, rooms and view. This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in Bali so far. The hotel is new and very well maintained. The roads to the hotel are a bit dark at night but this is the case for all of Nusa Penida. The staff are very pleasant and considering. The room even had a mosquito repellent, sub block, lip balm..etc! I was quite happy and surprised!

Our breakfast came in pretty late. We already booked the time to have breakfast at 9:00 AM so we could finish at 9:50 to then go to Mambo Dive for our snorkeling. However, the food came around 9:35-40 AM so we had to quickly finish our meal. I hope the staff in the kitchen will be more careful and mindful about this :)

Mambo is close to the harbour so it is convenient to travel. It is such an exotic, beautiful, and quiet hotel that is located on the hill. In the morning, you can see the whole scenery of jungles, mountains, and beaches here. The room has good facilities and necessities. The food here was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. Also, we chose this hotel because it has a free shuttle to Mambo Dive Resort (which was where we went for snorkeling the next day). The staff here are friendly and nice as well. My husband left his wedding ring in the room when we already left for Mambo Dive but the staff quickly helped and reassured us. Eventually, they were able to find the ring and gave it to us at the end of our snorkeling :) We deeply appreciate their kindness <3 Overall, it was a pleasant stay in Mambo. I would recommend it for couples. However, since it is a relatively small hotel perhaps 1 or 2 days staying here would be great :)

I couldn’t find any faults. Although probably not ideal for small children. I would not recommend for small children

The setting was amazing. The rooms were small but very beautiful and well equipped. The pools were special as they were accessible from each room. I loved the little extras in the rooms eg beautiful tea cups, welcome pack, gorgeous bed with view and so much more

You are a little out of the way, so need to get a shuttle or car to the main areas of Nusa Penida. But if you want a quiet stay this place is brilliant.

Room was beautiful and comfortable. Staff were exceptional and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was good with a good selection. Drinks in the bar area was great just watching the sun go down and the boats sail past. Hotel is beautiful and high up on the hill so you get a magnificent view across to Bali. Would definitely stay here again.

Bottom room is great with pool access but depending of people above can be a bit noisy

Mambo hill is very comfortable, staff are lovely and very accommodating. The bed is super comfortable. It also has a lovely pool.
