Muklis and the team were absolutely wonderful, I had the best time at the camp and I already can't wait to come back. The house is very well set up and the surf coaching and overall experience was fantastic. Would highly recommend!!

Only a few things to add would make it perfect: a mosquito net in the rooms and some better condition skates for the bowl.

The owner has amazing surf knowledge and is super friendly as well as all the staff! Place where you can improve your surfing, relax, hangout, skate…really nice and totally recommended! They have good boards to rent which also makes a difference!

It was so good that I ended up staying for over one month. The perfect place if you’re a solo traveller because there’s always cool people to hang out with. Waves were good, surf instructors were great (I progressed a lot with them and the video analysis), there’s even a bowl in the garden where you can skate! The price for one month of accommodation and lessons cost me less than one week at one of the more well-known camps! I will be back, definitely recommend!

This place is a surfer's haven. Awesome decor, a great communal area, and atmosphere, just minutes away from some of the best left-handers in the world! When we arrived Sole organized a scooter for us to hire for the week. We went for surf lessons every morning. Muklis was out of action as he took a skateboard to the head, unfortunately. This was no issue though! Pro coaches Daffa, Araman, and Sole were fantastic. These guys have endless energy, passion, and love for their job and bring all the good vibes and big smiles every day. We were very thankful to have their knowledge of some more unknown surf spots along the coast as it can get pretty busy at Medewi Point. My partner and I are beginner/intermediate surfers wanting to progress from longboarding to riding a shorter board. With the coaches setting us up with the best waves ( and a big extra push on the take-off for me :P) we were able to practice carving, have way too much fun on some amazing waves, and achieve our goal!! We did a video analysis after our session and were able to keep all of our videos. We also really enjoyed the food here, the camp has a service where you can order really well-priced food from a local restaurant with no delivery fee. We made some great friends at great memories here and are already planning our trip to come back :) Muklis and his family are incredibly welcoming and make the surf camp truly feel like a home away from home! This place really is a hidden gem, if you were to have a more authentic experience of Indonesian culture meet great people, and catch some great waves this is the place to come!

We had aircondition "motor" in bathroom so it was very noisy at night.

It is surf camp and do not expect anything else. For surfers great 😉 room has basic equipment. In shared area there is more to use. Owner is nice guy who helps with many things and teach you how to surf eventhou you are complete beginner as we were.

this place i a hidden pearl amongst an island that is known for it’s beauty. it does honor to the concept of a homestay, as it feel like a home from home! Muklis and the rest of the guys are very passionate about what they do and it shows. if you have good vibes, this place return those exact vibes! Every surfer will find something for them here and their non surfing companions will soon be tempted to try it and leave possessing some skill after even a single session with the amazing surf coaches.

Had one week off where I wanted to catch as many waves as possible - improve my surfing and meet like minded people and at Medewi Secret Surf camp you are able to get all this with ease. Muklis, Sole, Daffa and the rest of the guys do a great job at creating a very welcoming and fun atmosphere. Do their best to get you the best waves and make the whole experience worthwhile. Easily catching 15-20 waves a session and then creating a very comfortable environment afterwards. If you're looking to relax avoid the crowds, catch great waves and surround yourself with like minded people then could not recomment this place more.

I didn’t know anything about Medewi before I went and wow, this was the best one week of my life. The room was spacious with your own bathroom, Muklis and his family + crew are always filled with good vibes, and the surf coaching and video analysis are the best I’ve experienced. I’m gonna go back for at least a month next time!
