Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LithuaniaThe only bad thing is that we had to leave.
We traveled around Bali for four weeks and this was one of the best places we stayed. Everything was perfect, we were sad it was only available for one night. There are some other places which offer tents nearby, we tried one of them and it was not even close to this place. The rice field & Sunset View room is the best one, it also has a Mountain view. You can relax in the bath, breakfast can be served at your tent at no extra cost which was such a great gesture. Comfortable beds, air-conditioning, and views from the tent and outside were magnificent. Very private, a bit hard to drive with a scooter to a parking place but if needed, you will be assisted straight away.

This is my third stay and my favorite place to stay in Munduk. Everything about it is wonderful. The view and area is absolutely stunning, It's very comfortable and clean and Sami who welcomes you and makes your breakfast is the most lovely guy who will go out his way to help you with anything! I always wish I could stay longer and hate leaving.

AustraliaFood is brought in from an off site restaurant and was fairly average and a bit cold, but fine.
Lovely views, very quiet. Staff were lovely and packed us breakfast for our early departure. They offer various activities and we did the waterfall trekking which was well priced and our guide was excellent.

IndonesiaThe hot shower didn't really work. There's a bath tub but there's not enough hot water to fill it in. The sink also takes a long time to drain. I feel the price could be a bit more affordable provided the facility. .
The view is amazing, surrounded by rice fields and mountains, it's a bliss just to be there. There's only 2 cabins so it feels very private. There's only 1 staff but he's very attentive and give us a lot of privacy as well.

GermanyThe Wifi was in Tent 1 not the best, but if you use the wifi of tent2 everything is fine.
The accommodation was incredible. The location is perfect to just switch off and you can still explore all the highlights around Munduk (by yourself or with guided tours). You have a wonderful view over the nature of Bali. Especially at sunset you can enjoy it on your own terrace, very private. The breakfast is very tasty, and I can recommend the Balinese pancakes. We also ordered food from the accommodation for very fair prices. The tours offered are also highly recommended. An incredible amount of comfort in the accommodation and wonderful service. Especially the main staff member Sami took care of everything very well and was very accommodating.

IrelandThis place is a really treat! We spent the evening sitting out watching sunset over the rice fields and having a beautiful hot bath looking up at the stars, followed by a peaceful nights sleep here in the very comfortable bed. Sami and the rest of the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast and dinner we had here were both delicious.

RomaniaThe breakfast can be improved, there was some mold on the bread. Also the location is very remote - the road is very dificult and also the fact that there was no staff during the night didn’t comfort us due to the remote location. We didn’t feel safe
The tent is very beautiful and big. It is nice that you have a private bathroom and full privacy from the other tent. The staff was extremly friendly.

FranceIt's important to keep in mind that the road to get here is quite narrow and best accessed in a scooter.
My stay at Moondock Luxury Camp was an extraordinary experience that I will treasure forever. The unique igloo-like structures provided a truly one-of-a-kind stay, boasting incredible views of rice paddies and the lush jungle. My igloo was situated over a small waterfall, and the soothing sound of rushing water created a calming ambiance, perfect for a restful night's sleep (it was silent, no noise from dogs or other animals). The delicious homemade breakfast served each morning was an added delight, fueling my adventures for the day. Wifi worked well. The manager, Sami, went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. His attentive and generous nature made me feel right at home. Sami personally guided me on a hike to visit neighboring waterfalls, providing a truly immersive and authentic local experience I could not have had on my own. If you're seeking an adventure that blends luxury with a connection to nature and local culture, I cannot recommend this exceptional place highly enough!

BelgiumYou cannot reach with a car to the camp. It is around 300 meters walking from the road to the tent. If you ask sami he will help with the luggage.
The location, view and privacy is great. If you want to find a nice peacefull place in the middle of nature this is the place to be. There is only 2 tents and 1 host, that is on the place to support all your needs from touring until food. Sami is the host a wonderful friendly and honest guy that would do anything to give his guests the best expirience that he can provide. Special thanks to sami for making this place and our expirience unique.

United Kingdomthey should really provide a bedsheet under the duvet as it’s not sanitary to share the cover and being synthetic we were completely drenched in sweat and couldn’t sleep well. Also recommend fixing the small dirt road from with access from the main road as it got very muddy in the rainy season.
heaven! we only stayed one night but had a full experience with campfire, massage, flower bath, and jungle trekking and waterfall tour next day which I recommend! amazing day exploring the area. food was delicious both breakfast (try the pancakes!) and delivered dinner with the view! room was really luxury with nice touches and furniture, a steal for this price. thank you moondock!

United KingdomIronically, its strongest suit is also its biggest drawback. The location is absolutely stunning... but its quite isolated and the drive down to it is a bit nervy for an inexperienced biker.
I've travelled all over the world and never stayed in a place with quite as good a view as this one. The tent is spacious, well equipped and insulated, doesn't get too hot or too cold thanks to the AC. Fridge, coffee/tea and flatscreen TV. But with a stunning view like that, who needs anything else?!
