The location has great walkable access to yoga , fave restaurant and coffee. Unfortunately there’s a very popular gym that plays loud music most of the day. Night times very peaceful though.

The rooms are just beautiful and breezy

This place is beautiful! Perfect place for families and couples. The staff is great, we asked where we could rent a scooter and in 30 minutes it was ready for us. The food and drinks are good, the pool is nice, rooms are clean. We loved everything about it. It was a perfect place to relax.

This place really has it all. Not as a negative point but rather a suggestion would be to switch mattresses because these are not that comfortable and also some days it felt as if there were only just enough places available around the pool but I think it’s because this pool area is so nice that everyone just loves to be there 🥰 honestly don’t let this feedback hold you back from staying here because this place is absolutely great and you want this.

Beautiful place with such an amazing staff, especially Wiwix who was such an helpful and sweet friend when it came to our baby’s needs. The food is also amazing and the rooms have everything you need. If you are looking for a great stay in one of the hipster areas of Uluwatu then look no further, this is your place to be. Oh and also shout out to the housekeeping team that ensured our room got cleaned immediately when we had breakfast so it would not interfere with our baby’s sleep - without having to ask for it.

While I love an outdoor shower, the only minor thing I didn't love was the toilet was also outside in the mostly covered bathroom. So any bathroom activity of ours could be heard by neighboring rooms. Without getting into detail I would have loved a little more privacy when using the toilet.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful and the location was great for getting to lots of places for shopping, eating and drinking. Was happy to meet the owner and enjoyed a nice conversation with him at breakfast. We loved the room location right by the pool (very nice and well maintained) with easy in/out access, fresh towels, daily cleaning service. The property is small which was also nice and the hours for breakfast and pool were perfect. The food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent!

    Couldn't fault it!

The hotel is small but that only served to add to it's charm. The location is ideal for those wanting to explore Uluwatu and close to some great restaurants, bars, a gym and to the surrounding beaches. Bingin beach was our favourite as there are some lovely beach bars and restaurants there too, as well as Padang Padang beach too. The gardens and pool area are very well maintained and add to the relaxed, tropical vibe. The food and drinks were delicious with a wide range of options and very good value for money. The room itself was beautifully decorated and the outside bathroom was extra special. The staff were incredibly welcoming, very personable (including remembering our names which did not go unnoticed) and always went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay at Mule Malu. We didn't want to leave and will 100% be returning when we're next in Bali. We cannot recommend it more!

Stunning Location and staff - Shame about lack of transparency

Our stay happened to land on the Nyepi Festival, where everyone closes down, you can't go out, play music, speak loudly or have the lights on. It's pretty extreme, and while the staff tried their best to accommodate us, it wasted two days of our trip in virtual lockdown, as everything closed at 4pm the day before Nyepi then you were trapped in the resort on the day and vanished to your room at 6pm. They were actually knocking on people's doors telling them to close the curtains, all too much for me when you've travelled across continents for a trip of a lifetime. We should have been informed immediately on booking with an option to cancel so we could change our dates to visit Mule Malu and visit another island - as Nyepi is only observed on Bali. I don't like the lack of transparency there as they should have allowed us to make an informed choice. Moral of the story - if you're visiting Bali IN March, make sure you're not coinciding with Nyepi.

Gorgeous intimate resort, staff were amazing, breakfasts were delicious and randomly they did the best artisan pizza I've had any where in the world! Showering outside is such a vibe and I adored the princess bed.

No fridge in the room, no warm water (at least when I was there, and breakfast was not included in the price.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Bingin just by Bambu Fitness which is a really nice gym. The pool area is wonderful, and the music and the beautiful decoration sets a very nice vibe. The rooms are spacious and beautiful the bathroom outside is well-made and makes the whole stay even more special. I loved staying here and would love to be back.

Beds weren't super comfy, no mini fridge in suite, only the most minimal basics in the room (although they did have things you could request, such as kettles, if needed). Random: our toilet lid wouldn't stay open, so while using the toilet it would always be closing on you.

BEAUTIFUL little self-contained oasis in the midst of Uluwatu. Truly was a gorgeous place, and so picturesque. Super close walking distance to Bingin Beach and Padang Padang Beach. Staff were very kind and always happy to greet you and accommodate you. Check out was pretty strict for timing, but they were more than happy to hold our bags and let us have access to the whole facility (including shower / toilets) while we waited for our departure time.

The accomodation was looking very good, the staff were great, it was clean. We also enjoyed the food and drinks. Overall, it is a great place to relax as it is quiet. Right near the accomodation there are multiple restaurants, gym or yoga and spa center. It is 10 min walking distance from Bingin beach and 20 from Padang Padang.

I’m found the bed a little uncomfortable. I usually pay a bit more for accommodation in Bali so I can get a good mattress. It wasn’t rock hard but out of 10 I would have to give the mattress a 7. I’m sure most people wouldn’t have a problem with this as my mattress at home is outstanding and I stayed here for 6 days so by the end a bit stiff.

I loved the whole outlook and feel. The staff were amazing and go above and beyond. Loved the outdoor bathroom.

Legit, nothing. Oh like if you're going to make me work for it, I'd say the serving size of food was on the smaller end but honestly that's because I'm a growing girl. At least that's definitely what I like to tell my Mum when she gives me the side eye at dinners.

The pictures didn't do the place justice! Sometimes you simply can't capture a feeling. The pool is less chlorinated than many Bali hotel pools. The family vibe didn't make this single girly feel weird at all. The way the staff tend to the gardens is soothing, it genuinely felt as though everybody was happy to be there. The room was so gorgeous, I'm so sad I'm not staying there right now!!! It's design, openness but still cozy, plenty of pillows, plenty of lighting and curtains to block lighting should you wish. The taps all worked, the water pressure was great, everything felt thought about but not over the top. I was truely sooo happy to return to the hotel and the location is a trap, it's so good it's a trap, that little nook is everything, you don't need to go anywhere; it's all right outside your door. By that I mean there is a crossfit gym, a yoga school, trendy restaurants attached to those aforementioned locations. High end/low end retail therapy. A popular local warrung. You're not far from day clubs. Ugh, I'd honestly leave my current accomodation now and take the $$ loss just to return to MMTS.
