Falling apart, nearly everything was broken or damaged. It was damp and full of mosquitos. Linen was old and stained. The restaurant was not functioning due to renovations that we were not warned about, also noise from the building work. Don’t believe local guide reviews. Would not recommend or ever go back to.

A classic. Stay here. The staff is friendly, the bungalows are spacious. The best ever are the bathrooms. What made us choose this as our landing site for a family of two girls aged three and five with mom and dad on a two month excursion, was another review that complained about geckos in the bathrooms. Come in: outside bathrooms in this climate is the BEST. No mould, starry nights. However. Having two bungalows with two bathrooms, outside kitchen and a big pavilion… Pretty typical: too much space, too little practical maintenance. One bathroom had non-functional bathtub. We had an office that had probably never been opened and was badly smelling. Electrical outlets from the 50s: hidden under behind bed. We went here during low season and had the entire grounds including pool more or less to ourselves. It was a letdown they had no breakfast, but great hopes when their in-house restaurant reopens.

Sadly, the entire establishment is run down, ill equipped and dirty. The aircon didn’t work in one of the rooms, the bedding was stained and moldy. The kitchen wasn’t equipped at all and crawling with ants, as were the bathrooms. The ponds were overgrown with algae and we were all bitten by bed bugs. It is not as advertised, definitely not 4 stars, and we left after 1 miserable night.

Do not stay here! We recently stayed here in October. At over $200 a night our experience did not match the promising pictures and wonderful reviews showcased on Booking.com. We were fully prepared for an older style property but the level of uncleanliness and lack of hygiene at this accommodation were unacceptable with noticeable mould on the sheets, slimy and mouldy bathroom surfaces, and towels that were not just old but discoloured and stained. Furthermore, the kitchenware was in an unsanitary condition, and the floors seemed like they hadn't been properly cleaned for a long time. It was disappointing to see that even the basic amenities were not maintained to a decent standard. The towels were never replaced, and it appeared that the only service provided was the making of the beds, with no signs of any cleaning efforts. . Furniture was soiled, and it seemed like pool towels were reused without proper washing. This neglectful attitude towards cleanliness greatly affected our overall experience. The lack of proper maintenance and sanitation made our visit uncomfortable and disappointing. I sincerely hope that the owners address these issues for future guests.

We had villa SAWA. The room, bathroom, toilet, kitchen were rundown and half clean. The villa we had was away from the pool and other villas and near the main road. It badly needs renovation and not good value at the price. We have stayed at much nicer places for half the price. At night a café on the main road had a band that played every night with loud music until 11:30 pm. The pool was not clear and the tiles were greasy and scum around the edges. The pool lounges were marked and dirty. I would not stay here again.

Property is very old. Furnishings need repair. Roof leaked. Aircon leaked. Cooking pots and pans were not clean, full of old grime which could not be removed.

- The outdoor bathroom wasn’t enjoyable at all due to the large amount of ants. They were on our towels, on the toilet paper and all over any surface. - We didn’t get a peaceful nights sleep during our stay due to extremely loud music being played until late at nearby bars. - The cleaning wasn’t to our standard, we got into bed to find a lot of dirt/seeds/something under the covers which we had to remove before getting into bed - The mosquito net and sheets etc had marks/burns on them and weren’t soft or clean

- The location is a short walk to a lovely beach and has lots of good restaurants and bars surrounding it, as well as a supermarket and ATM nearby - The outdoor area with the pool was lovely and really enjoyable to sunbathe around with the pool a perfect temperature. It was also very quiet and peaceful during the day - The villas were very spacious and had lots of space for hanging clothes etc - The staff are very friendly and will help you with anything you need - There was a turtle in the water outside our room - The option to have breakfast cooked for us in the kitchen gave us flexibility to start our day at whatever time we wanted
