Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SerbiaIt could be a bit more cleaner though. We had a bit more bugs at the beginning due to location but staff were friendly and they reacted imediatelly. After further actions we didn't have the same issue again.
The location of the accomodation is in the middle of the forrest. We had the monkeys and we could feel the real feel of jungle and staying in the jungle as our villa was the last and biggest one.

SingaporeNone.
Although the property was 25 years old, the room was well maintained. My family was mentally prepared when we picked this hotel as we wanted to be near nature, so we were alright with gecko and insects in our room. The staff do regular pest control every 3 days, but understand it's a mission impossible to get rid of the insects as they are part of nature. Please do not complain to the reception if any insects comes into your room, you are in the forest, embrace the nature please. And love the 3 shuttle service every day, the location is super convenient if you want to travel to Ubud city.

United StatesRoom isn’t like I expected. I was expecting a 2 bedrooms with a living room and a sofa bed as per the booking reference but in fact I didn’t get the sofa bed, no living room and when I asked for extra bed, I pretty much had to pay for another room rate!!!! Horrible experience on that….
Locations were great.

AustraliaLights in the room and common areas are very dim, difficult to read books/ phone in that light. A few more food options would be great.
Lovely resort. Location is stunning. The pool view overlooking the valley of green is amazing. So are the villas, the ones with small open pools are very nice. Highlight of the stay is the staff. Flower arrangement in the pool is something to be experienced, so is the concept of floating breakfast. The staff are exceptional in their friendliness & service. No small request was too much for the staff.

NetherlandsIt's a little dated, the hot water runs out quickly, and the WiFi is terrible.
The view from the villa is amazing! Quite close to Ubud centre and easy to get to. Beds are comfortable, ac works properly. The location really is breathtaking, super tranquil with the full jungle feeling.

SwedenThe resort is 25 year old, so it needs TLC at some places. Nothing we minded as rooms were clean and fresh. We missed room service. However, key improvement for this hotel is the food. Food was at best mediocre and few choices to choose from. Too bad, if the hotel would improve its kitchen and menu this is a clear 9+ resort in my opinion.
Truly in the jungle but only 5 minutes with the car from Ubud centre, the hotel offers a jungle oase. The pool is beautiful and truly unique. Spacious rooms and villas with own pools, daily cleaning. Friendly staff. Daily shuttle very convenient. It is a beautiful resort if you want peace in the jungle from the intensity of Ubud. Warmly recommend!

AustraliaI think some of the hotel amenities are older than the photos shown. The toilet seats in our bathroom needed to be replaced as there are some stains and one of the basins needed regular draining. I think with some minor fixes the stay would've been excellent.
The location is close enough to central Ubud but away from all the hustle and bustle. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful with all our needs.

AustraliaThe usual wear and tear and damage from a humid environment which is always expected and okay. Lots of bugs which is also expected being in nature so keep doors closed!
Great views and a great feel being out of the busy streets and in nature. Loved how the property leads down into the jungle. The restaurant has great views too.

AustraliaThey were fixing the roofs, which is fine, but they were right in front of our villa which was very uncomfortable considering how open it was. This was for our whole trip. I would have appreciated some compensation for that.
I liked that it was a bit out of the way. It was nice coming back after the hussle and bussle of a day trip. Staff were friendly and they accommodated us being early and getting bandaids when I got blisters.

NetherlandsIt’s not a big deal but for us 4 little bottles of water wasn’t enough to get by during the day. We had to pay extra if we wanted more. With how much we paid we didn’t expect that. But not a big problem at all.
We had the villa with a little private pool and a beautiful view on the valley. Also the room and the bed was very comfortabel and we loved the view you even had with the outside shower.

AustraliaOk now please remember covid did a lot to Bali and it’s economy and it’s going to take time for it to catch up There is a lot of maintenance needing to be done which we did see was very quietly being done but this takes money and tourism is the source of that so we were happy to overlook most it Stairs and railings were a more of a safety concern though as loose stone work and wood and us not being as agile as we once were had to be very careful navigating the many steps most without railing to get around luckily we had a villa that had the least steps and was close to the restaurant and infinity pool . If you have bad knees or are unfit you may struggle with the stairs but you are on the side of a mountain so there has to be steps but the view and and seclusion is worth it .
the view was spectacular and the staff were so friendly and lovely The infinity pool was stunning and cool we had luke warm pools at other stays it was nice to be able to cool down and feel refreshed We were also lucky enough to see the forest monkeys one night and morning come to feed on the bread fruit trees these a not temple monkeys or tourist fed monkeys so no feeding is allowed at the resort so the monkey are only there for the fruit in the trees once it’s gone they leave it was an amazing experience . To wake up to the gentle sounds of the jungle and flowing river below was soothing and calming watching the jungle change colour as the sun rose was simply a beautiful way to start the day all while laying in bed looking out your window. The privacy of each villa is also great you feel like your the only people their . The staff have a very calm gentle presence and cater to your every need . To me this was what Ubud was about traditional old Bali architecture set in the heart of the jungle

NetherlandsThis hotel is absolutely phenomenal!! It has the perfect location in Ubud where you can enjoy the sounds and feel from the nature around you, like you are in the middle of the jungle. But yet a very short 10/15 minute ride with a taxi or a free shuttle from the hotel to the lovely center of Ubud. So this Natura Villa is really the best of both worlds. Furthermore are the little villas you get magnificent with al the facilities and tidiness you need. Only the lighting was a bit scares and the wifi wasn’t the very best in the room but that adds on to the jungle feeling. Also al the people that worked there were amazing, if you wil spend your time there I hope you meet Riska who works at the hotel. She is the most wonderful, kind and helpful person that we met throughout al the different hotels we stayed at on Bali. She helpt us arranged so many fun activities al last minute and it was a blast!! Hope if you come there that you get the chance to meet her :) So highly recommend you coming to this place in Ubud!!
