Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South KoreaI had high expectations before I came to the beautiful and idyllic villa, but the quality of the actual experience was not. It's a rice paddy right in front of the villa, and farmers burn rice straw and very heavy smoke comes into the accommodation. Of course, I couldn't swim in the pool and smoke came into the room, so I couldn't breathe. So I had to go outside. At this villa, There's a lot of bugs, flies, mosquitoes, lizards and birds in this villa. When I went out, I was surprised to see lizards poop everywhere on the bed I couldn't sleep there, so I moved to another bedroom, where there was a strange smell of unknown identity, and while I was sleeping, I heard a strange cry from the ceiling. I was not able to fall asleep and stayed awake for the whole night. It's very beautiful, but I don't think I'll go back. It was so uncomfortable.

Waking up to the stunning views and watching the sunset over the fields was a highlight of my stay. It offered a sense of tranquility and escape from the bustling city life. The villa itself was beautifully designed, with a perfect blend of traditional Balinese architecture and modern amenities. The use of wood throughout the property added a warm and inviting touch, creating a cozy atmosphere. The separate building for the bedrooms ensured privacy and a quiet night's sleep. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms. What truly set this villa apart was the exceptional staff. From the moment of arrival, they greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The villa manager and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were attentive to our needs, provided valuable recommendations for local attractions and dining options, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Their dedication and professionalism truly enhanced the overall experience.

The views were unreal! In the middle of the rice fields yet close to everything! No road noise. Brand new Villa. Complete tranquility right near Seseh. We took a scooter and in less than 5 minutes we were sitting on the beach. It isn’t mentioned but we even had a view of the ocean from our Villa. The staff was just perfect from check in to check out! 5 Stars for sure.
