Loved the location. Close enough on a scooter to Canguu but still far enough to feel like you’re out of the hustle. Super peaceful. Definitely do a yoga class while You’re there. The beds are super comfy and the bungalows spacious. Love that there is two Pools and an ice plunge. The staff are really lovely. Had a chat with the owner who is a legend. Private enough to have some solo time but also social enough to Meet people. Worth a stay if You want to visit Bali and the bush areas but not stay in them and super affordable xx

Since we crossed the entrance door it felt like a dream. The garden, the frangipani and the incense scent, the lovely smiles of the staff always prompt to make your journey pleasant. If you are looking for a place far away from the crowded Canggu traffic and you want to immerse yourself in the peaceful nature, this is definitely the place for you. The property is located 20 minutes from the centre of Canggu, offers different free and paid activities like yoga, movie night, fire pit, ice bath, massages and community walk to the rice field and a close waterfall. I tried one of the massages and was a beautiful experience (thank you Enri (hope I got the name correctly) The room are well equipped, the bed was super comfortable and the wifi connection was working really well. They offer food, but if you want you can easily order delivery by using Grab. You have 2 swimming pools and the property provides you beach towels :) I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel, was really sad to leave and I will definitely try to go back. Thank you for making my stay so extraordinary

The toilet of our room was in the ground floor which can be a bit uncomfortable during the night. But you get used to it.

We absolutely loved Nunu. We didn’t leave the retreat for a week. It had everything we needed to disconnect from the busyness of travelling. We enjoyed the tree house very much. We loved the pool and the ice batch. The service was incredible and omg the food was delicious. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be disconnected, practice some yoga and relax.

Leaving

Best place if you are travelling solo 10/10 One of the most beautiful and relaxing stays you could have. This is my third visit to Nunu Bali, after again visiting back in March. Again I was blown away by the community here and how much of a family Nunu Bali really is. They have untold classes, activities and such a great vibe for everyone from all ages and backgrounds to meet. Even in the rain everyone has such a beautiful time here together. I would suggest paying no attention to guests who leave bad reviews on solo travelling for Nunu. This does not reflect the true Nunu Bali. There are plenty of people of all ages that meet here. With the most beautiful community surrounding it and tonnes of fun things to do, you couldn’t ask for a better place. If it’s raining it Bali - this is probably the best place to visit as it has everything you need on site without having to leave.

Only constructive feedback I have is: could you make the portions of food a little bigger, and it would be an upgrade to get an espresso machine :)

I don’t want too many people to know about this little gem, because then it might be fully booked when I come back.. but this place is amazing. My little cabin was the coziest place I’ve stayed in, I slept so well!! Felt like I was in paradise. The best thing about this place is the people. I’ve met so many fun, interesting people here!

Do you want a peaceful place to relax and socialize with other (longterm) travelers and you love nature and Yoga? Then Nunu is the place to go :) On my 5 month trip I came back to Nunu four times to recharge my energy, to stay in a place that feels like home where I can connect with likeminded people. The place is beautiful and the staff is lovely, interesting and caring and makes you feel like home. Thanks to all of you, dear Nunu-Team, hopefully see you again soon!

I am still amazed by this place, i would recommend to not hesitate a second, this is one of the most wonderful and calmest places i have ever been in my life. The staff is absolutely incredible, good humans, at your service, and the room are really amazing (even the dormitory). I really met wonderful people and i hope i ll be able to go back to that piece of paradise. Trust me, this is the choice you have to pick to enjoy your time in Bali.

Firstly I’d like to highlight how perfectly social this Retreat is. I am used to Hostels as I look for a social scene however I didn’t want to be in a party environment so this was the perfect place. They host social events and yoga everyday. They organise massages and day trips for you. So you really don’t have to overthink anything. Secondly, the Team at NuNu are such beautiful, smiley faces to be around each day. And lastly, the beds…are amazing!! Such nice cabins and bathrooms are beautifully designed.

Wonderful place. Enjoyed it alot. The place is social if you want and great place to hang out with people with a bit of brains and ambitions. Two pools, good spa experience and nice yoga session. Very chill. Also quite good for someone working remotely. The staff were awesome, so was the cat, whom I will miss the most. Also, make sure to walk along the road and see the village. Lots of temples, rice fields etc. Good scenery.

The food is a bit expensive at the hostel but you can easily get food delivered with Grab. It can be a bit difficult to get a ride to/from Nunu in the evening, because it's a bit far out - patience is needed. No problem during the day.

Nunu is located approx 30 min. from the beach sorrounded by nature. It's very calm which I loved about this place. Very nice staff. Yoga everyday for 100k. Loved the chickens and the kitten Queeny living at Nunu. The ice bath is an amazing way to cool down. I stayed in the dorm which had good facilities incl. aircon.

I was not particularly fond of the food menu available but the few dishes I was interested in were delicious.

Reece the owner took no short cuts with this venture, there are thoughtful details everywhere you look. The space is beautiful, the team is friendly. The place is maintained beautifully and regularly and it shows. I celebrated my birthday there and the team put together a beautiful evening at short notice. I highly recommend anyone looking to reset in a quiet and serene setting to come to Nunu. A great place to start or/and end a trip in Bali.

Not a single thing not to like.

NuNu is like a little family you wake up to every morning. The staff is incredible and lovely, locals from the area that are always up to help you and engage with you. The owner is funny, sweet, caring and has put thought into every detail, you can feel it and see it at every corner of Nunu. I left this place and after 1 night, I returned immediately as I had missed the calm pace and the peace that is in Nunu. You can easily spend your days here swimming, doing yoga, reading, writing and sleeping very well in the comfortable beds. I will definitely come back again and already looking forward to it.

The food was not good. Perhaps if they would switch to just a few (local) dishes this might improve the quality :). Since it’s quite far youre kind of dependent of the food that they offer.

Amazing hidden gem located just outside the hectic scenery or changgu. Lovely rooms, personnel and gorgeous garden. Great laidback and relaxed atmosphere, loved every minute of my short stay!🩵

It would be nice having some curtains on the front window and there were many millipedes in the outdoor bathroom

Beautiful location with friendly staff and locals, yummy fresh fruit, juices and decent coffee for breakfast. It was a nice touch having all the fruit trees labelled so I knew what I was looking at. They put on something to do most days and it was fun watching the very wild kitten with a big personality fun amok. Beautiful river nearby with some mysterious ruins on the far bank.
