Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RussiaI liked everything! Large room, good water pressure in the shower, cleanliness, very tasty breakfast. The place is quiet, calm, just a few minutes by motorcycle from the center. Wonderful, friendly people work here) there are three clean swimming pools and a lot of greenery. I would go back)

Nyoman Sandi Guest house is a hidden gem surrounded by rice fields and only 12 minutes walk into Ubud centre. The rooms are spotless and despite its rural setting we had absolutely no problems with mosquitoes as the staff have very good control. 😅 We had breakfast of the fluffiest fruit pancakes and steaming Bali coffee served on our terrace by attentive but discreet staff. The pool was sparkling clean and plenty long enough to get a good swim. Traditional play and fire dance is at the end of the road. Played by local actors and male choir, money going back to the community. Well worth a visit but go early to get a good seat, it’s busy! I have since recommended Nyoman Sandi to several other travellers on their way to Ubud.

Lovely place with a nice pool area. The room was very spacious and clean..Breakfast was delicious. Great customer service from the staff which made the experience even more enjoyable. Location is ideal, only 15 minutes walking to Ubud Town. There are some nice cafes/restaurants on that road. We really enjoyed our time there.

North MacedoniaNot all rooms are the same, we wanted to extend the stay, however, had to change the room. The new room was smelling cigarettes and after all we didn't take it. So my rating and comment are based on the room we had booked and stayed through booking.
The room was great, clean, and spacious. Breakfast was also very good.

NetherlandsNothing! We wanted to stay longer but this hotel is very popular and rooms not often available. Note that there is one odd old room at the back, in a separate building, which is different than all other rooms and significantly outdated.
Fantastic small boutique hotel, with professional and very nice staff. Nice pools. Very good breakfast served on the terrace of our room. Some rooms have view on pool, other rooms have view on jungle (we liked these the most). Quiet location just outside busy centre. Scooter rental available. Clean rooms. Daily provision of anti-mosquito and incense.

SingaporeA little hot to walk from Ubud centre at mid day, but it’s just a grab transport away and you can’t have the best of both worlds.

Family-owned guesthouse with staff who care and respond quickly to requests. Excellent swimming pool in delightful garden setting. Comfortable bed, spacious room, good breakfast, good value. Location - quiet and peaceful, but the flip side is that it's about a 15 or 20 minute walk into the center of Ubud. Quick if you have a moto, though. Mr. Gunadi is a gracious host and a good manager.

PolandIt's not a big deal but to the city center you need to go circa 10-15minutes. If we would stay even longer the breakfasts could become a bit boring

AustraliaWe loved staying here.
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nyoman Sandi Guesthouse has a very lovely feel. The beds were comfy and clean, the rooms spacious, breakfast delicious, the pool clean, and garden delightful, staff and family very accommodating and friendly. Quiet location, yet close walk to central Ubud attractions. We had such an exceptional time in Ubud. One nearby gem is the free rice terrace walking circuit that links the Sweet Orange Walk with the Sari Organic Walk. We also enjoyed the Art Museum, Monkey Sanctuary, tubing on Pakerisan River, tour of bamboo houses at Green Village, Tegalalang Rice Terraces, shopping and local restaurants.

United KingdomTo be honest, the rooms and bathrooms need some refurbishment. However, it was not a problem for us and we loved our stay here
We booked it at last minute and we enjoyed our stay here. The customer service is top, the swimming pool is amazing and the breakfast in our terrace in the morning was an enjoyable experience. It is located a bit outside Ubud but to be honest, it is a walkway distance and it is even better if you have rented a scooter so you do not need to cross Ubud to explore the surroundings.

This place is lovely! Beautiful garden with the pool right in front of our room, staff very nice and helpful, they also arranged a private driver for us. Breakfast was super good, could choose from 3 options. The room was clean, and the owner provided electric machine against mosquitos, which we appreciated. Everything what we needed was nearby and Ubud centre was just 1km far. We would definitely stay again.

LithuaniaIt is a bit updated, but it's great price. We can't complain really. :)
Private, amazing surroundings, close to the city centre by foot, we could rent a scooter from the owners which was very convenient, every day selection of breakfast that is brought to you to your patio, access to the pool! We are so happy! Every evening mosquitoes repellent candle was brought plus for inside some electronic repellent. Staff was lovely, always smiling! Room cleaning was done every day.
