Not a problem for us but you might need a scooter or car to go around or hire a taxi if you like to go around. The good thing is that the cottage will help you with everything. They helped us with renting the scooter, which was delivered to the accommodation

We stayed 4 nights and did day trips to Amed and Lovina from here. The place feels like coming home and is well taken care of. Sometimes the manager bakes sweets and shares with the visitors. We got some chocolate cake and something that looked like coconut sticky rice. Both very yummy. The place is next to the ocean so you wake up with the waves. There are snorkeling equipment and fins around the homestay to use for free. Just make sure you were shoes if you go into the ocean. It's very rocky and you can't swim with low tie. Shout out to the massage therapist. I think her name was Mali. As a massage therapist I can say she was the best therapist I had in a long time. She doesn't skip a part, from toes to belly, chest and even the ears.

Rock hard bed, with a bad back, the bed really is like a rock! Staff found enough pillows for me to lay out on the bed so I could lay on them :)

Everything about this place was absolutely gorgeous except the rock hard bed! I had a fall & the staff couldn't have been more helpful including calling the Dr for me.

Too bad there is no beach, but that's not their fault. But right on top of the ocean. Plenty to do otherwise.

EVERYTHING was as perfect as we could hope for. Absolutely beyond our expectations. Little gestures as a welcome drink and a wet towel, to covering our windshield, demonstrate how thoughtful they are. Will definitely be back. Best stay so far, out of 8 total!

This is a minor issue: No space in the bathroom to put toiletries. May a small table next to the basin would help.

Exceptional place. The staff are super friendly. Facilities are top notch. Gardens are absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. Beautiful clean COLD pool overlooking the ocean. Snorkeling gear available.

Actually there is nothing that we didn't liked.

Amazing place. Just front of the ocean. Breakfast can be taken in front of the room or just on the terrace / balcony which is located in from of the sea. The sama as well for the dinner. The dinner price is much better than Ubud.

The way it's designed does not encourage socialising.e.g, there is no communal eating/bar area - it feels designed for couples. This could be a positive or negative depending on what you want.

Everything excellent. Comfortable and very clean. The manager asked if everything was ok, if there was anything they could do. That is incredibly rare in this price bracket. As a result they lent me a yoga mat and kettle. It is isolated but not too much- there are little shops and warungs within 10 minutes walk. And with a scooter there is a lot to see on this coast, notably Les Waterfall 7km away. Good food and welcoming, easygoing staff.

Nothing I did not like- everything was nice. Only thing wish there was more of a walking beach. It's all rocky, so just enjoy looking out to the open sea- that was just beautiful for me.

Such a quiet peaceful haven- my second time here. Rooms are simple, but very clean with nice little touches making it more of a home than a resort. Good shower and wifi in room for those needing to stay connected. The staff are all very kind and helpful and allowing guests to enjoy their privacy. 4 garden rooms, one has a seaview. The pool is divine. This is a place to re-charge by the sea with views of sunrise and sunsets. Look forward to another stay in future.

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway then this is it. The pool is nice and you can swim and snorkel in the sea when it is calm.

It was amazing to spend time there. The best my booking. Hotel upgraded our room and gave us room near the sea. I really enjoyed staying there and spending my time. I wish to come back to this wonderful place at least one more time.

Fantastic little seafront chalets, I couldn't believe the price I paid. Value for money was incredible. Nice garden grounds, attentive staff, good food offering with local and western offered. Allowed use of snorkeling equipment for free. Nice little breakfast. Very happy with my find of this place. Lovely none touristy area. Great local feel.

There is not much to critizise considering the price. So, you get what you pay for (and probably even more). The bathroom is basic, especially not much to put stuff or hang your towels, but the shower was hot and everything was working. We didn't make much use of the kitchen because it doesn't have a place to cook. It has just a fridge and a water boiler.

We have had the "Orchid" family appartment, which is the nicest room/appartment in the property because it has the best view to the garden and the ocean and a terrasse. We have paid a very reasonable price, so we didn't expect luxury or a huge breakfast buffet. But the breakfast was OK. The location of the property is directly at the ocean, so you can enjoy the ocean view while having a meal or relaxing. And you don't hear any traffic or noise from the main streat because there are other places in between. The pool is small but big enough for kids to play. The owner is very helpful and he borrowed me a sarong for free to take part in the religious ceremony in the village. I would definitely recommend this place, especially considering the price. The beach here is not sandy, so you should at best bring water shoes to get into the ocean, otherwise you might hurt your feet a bit. But once you get into the water, you can enjoy pretty good underwater life when snorkeling. It's not a good beach for kids to swim though.

You need some form of transportation, not a lot of things to go to, but I was never so relaxed in my life before, would definitely return!!!

Price-quality ratio is excellent. For people who appreciate green, beautiful large garden area by the sea. Place is very peaceful. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Some resorts nearby. But nothing else than those and nature around the resort. We really appreciated that. Menu is simple, but food is good, breakfast included in room price. Would love to come back.

Serene peaceful place, well maintained, love the vibes, clean room, superb breakfast. They also provide snorkling kit that you can borrow for free. Staffs are amazing, pleasant and helpful. This place are better than its photo. The photo seems dull and old, but when you arrive, its so well maintained. I got the sea view room.
